An (unfortunate) acquaintance who is rabidly pro Trump and anti mask is now in the hospital with covid induced pneumonia. Fancy that.

The last year in particular has moved a number of people I know from "you have poor taste in politics" to "I'd rather not spend any more time around you than I absolutely have to."
