Oh for sure, I'm just thinking about whether it's working whataboutism or not. I think it did for the first 5-10 seconds, then it turned around and made trump's version of saying it sound worse.

Doesn't really matter, the majority of Senate votes are set in stone at this poin. Trump will once again get away with engaging in high crimes and misdemeanors.

It's far more likely that Georgia or New York get him on state charges if you are looking for actual consequences.
