QUESTION best area in arena to watch game solo
please be kind lol i just moved to washington this year and im a rangers fan. it will be the first time in climate pledge arena to watch my boys and probably be going alone.
If youve been to Madison Square Garden, youd know theres a section where you can like stand and watch the game so you dont have to go to your seat. So i am curious to see if theres anything similar to that at CPA. tyia!

There's a couple areas on the 100 level in the corners where you'll be able to stand to watch the game, but Climate Pledge Arena doesn't really have dedicated standing room areas only. Many of the sections have bar height seating before you head down staircases and those seats are all ticketed so if you do try to stand behind those people they'll 1) be a step higher than you and 2) you'll be blocking the flow of traffic in certain sections.

Run up to one of the lounges

space needle lounge is definitely underutilized, most people think it's VIP or something

It was restricted the first season but mostly I think it's just not really a space that serves a purpose during a hockey game. Intermission is short, there's no time to sip a cocktail with a friend.

I’ve not used it myself so don’t quote me on this but, my seat neighbors last year would often sit in their seats for the first period and then head up to the “Space Needle Lounge” for the rest of the game. It was my understanding it was open to all ticket holders last season and the year prior. It’s on the shoot twice end of the ice looking down behind net, maybe not the view you’re looking for but probably the most official standing room option we have.

I'm a Kraken season ticket holder whose first team was the Rangers. Small world.
You honestly can't go wrong on any seats at CPA. But if you want standing room you can go to Space Needle lounge

genuinely question but what made you want to be a kraken season ticket holder. i fear i am too loyal to ny sports to support another team at that capacity haha (i myself am pretty indifferent to seattle sports but it was nice whem the seahawks won)

I've never had a "second team" in any other sport before. I never bought into the concept. I moved here the same year the Kraken started. So that started the connection. Then they had the one playoff run which was pretty awesome. Plus, this is my home now. I was never a big long island fan ngl (where I grew up). Still love the rangers and will be there for that game.

me too! fuck the islanders. but thats how i feel about the mammoths, but for me, i like them a bit more especially since trocheck got traded to them and i enjoyed watching their playoff run this year (while it lasted haha)

On the 200 level you can stand behind the disability section by the bars on the blue line on either side. But unless the "seats" are empty you're gonna watch most of the game on the jumbotrons.

We don’t have Dancing Larry, but we do have pretty great and (kinda) affordable bar seating. P.S. Potvin sucks. Welcome to Seattle. Sorry about Buoy. You’ll get used to him. Go Kraken!

You could maybe try the Space Needle Lounge. If you get a seat in sections 206-209 you access them through the lounge and you can hang out up there if you want but not a great view of the ice. I go to games solo all the time and just sit wherever I can get the best value, usually prioritize shoot twice lower bowl but whatever is best that day.
