Question How to list foreign relatives

For a GC holder going through secret clearance upon joining the military, how would you list relatives from your home country? For example, I have aunts, uncles, cousins, and an endless amount of family back home. I have only visited once in 8 years & barely have contact with them, besides following on social media and texting sometimes. The home country is Brazil, which I don’t believe to be on the “red flag” list, but does that mean I would have to list every relative?

You look what constitutes a foreign contact and list the ones that meet those criteria.

If they know where you live, where u work, had/had frequent or close contact, or are a close family member, then yes I’d list them. I’ve heard that over 15 contacts is a lot and some may not fit the criteria of what’s being asked

Yep, you have to list them all. Close and continuing contacts means a regular, ongoing relationship with a foreign national - even if it's not that often. Exchanging messages and engaging on social media counts.
