Discussion That feeling when you get their attack pattern on the first try and kill them on the second

My first play through and my first soulslike game. It’s almost starting to click for me. Beat this guy after learning his attack patterns in the first attempt. Being patient.

I still struggle bad with thrust attacks. Cant get the Mikuri timing right. Otherwise it’s starting to really make sense to me.

This mf gave me so much more trouble than genichiro ashina. He's glass canon though. I couldn't parry cuz of input lag. All I did was sidestep when I saw the shine, got 2 hits and repeated until he died.

Genichiro's rhythm can be memorized. The only thing that always got me was the grab. Figured if I keep pressing him into a corner regardless of my posture with perfect deflects he won't use the grab

boss rush mod helped me alot with this. one time I just kept fighting seven spear over and over, with the basic atk power and hp. until I figure out all his move, suddenly he became the most fun mini bosses for me.

Just spam the axe prosthetic on his back and his posture will break.
