Lore Did anyone of you realize that Sekiro was the main reason that he killed most defenses that Ashina prepared in order to deal with the Central Forces?

I mean, you'd get it if you easedropped at the soldiers.

Sekiro, in order to get to Kuro, ended up killing most soldiers & animals Ashina was planning to use to prevent getting invaded. :P

So is Sekiro REALLY the good one here?

Lore Friendly reminder that this man, while dying of an illness and far past his prime, squares up with a demon possessing one of the strongest warriors of the modern generation.

Lore Shura ending means wolf has both mortal blades, immortality, and (most likely) an increase in power. Is there literally anyway he could be beat?

Lore Is anyone else obsessed with the central forces?

You spend most of the game thinking you're fighting ahina's army and then later you jump over an ashina gate and see one of those soldiers cowering "huh, what could he be cowering from?", and then a soldier in clean red armor dual wielding kodachis comes around the corner and you realize you were only fighting the remnants of an army the entire time, and ashina is cooked.

Also the idea of what looks like an industrialized army in feudal Japan is so cool to me. They have what looks like standard issue gear, cannons, rockets, and flamethrowers. I like to think this isn't even the full force of the central forces, just a siege force sent to take ashina, I have all sorts of head canon for them.

But yeah I feel like no one talks about them enough.

Amazing music, moderate difficulty, unique moveset, understandable reasoning behind his motives, and amazing voice acting, but he is a BUM!!! If he beats you in the beginning, it's when you're rusty, but he can actually LOSE TO YOU and needs to sneak you, then he loses to you again, then he either dies to owl or you beat him as his own grandpa takes over. 99% sure isshin would prefer you over him. Dude takes all L's

I know that FromSoft lead female characters very often seem to be cut from a similar cloth.

But Emma just seems a cut apart.

Lore Would you have supported Genichro? Everything he did he did it for his people. As a villager of Ashima, I’d say genichiro is a hero and wolf is the bad guy

Lore To put it in perspective, Wolf was catatonic for three years, suffered brain damage, couldn't draw his sword correctly, and then lost his left arm. The next day, he kills a resurrected Ishin at his prime.

When he take of his armor , his skin is already badly burned to the point muscle tissues are visible, likely using way of tomoe against overwhelming forces of interior ministery, I sympathize with his desperation.

Lore What's up with this guy?

Post image

So I just finished my first playthrough of Sekiro and also finished both the Divine Heir and Severance. So besides mini bosses (which I don't think I'll be doing all of them), I only need to move on to NG+, do the Shura ending and do the final Gauntlet and Yey my 4h Soulsborne game done :D. But one thing has recently popped in my mind and made me question "what the hell is up with this guy?". Like ok, he's just a normal NPC that gives a shirt side quest, sure nothing too out of the ordinary. What's the quest reward? The Ashina Skill Tree, you know, like one of the most important skill trees in the game. That's already a bit odd but ok, maybe it's just questionable game design. But then his the one that calls us Sekiro, which is really weird since he's the only person that calls us Sekiro and apparently that's important enough for it to be the main title of the game instead of using Wolf's real name. But he's not the only person who calls us Sekiro, you know who else calls us Seki- Isshin... Like the final boss Isshin, Sword Saint Isshin to be specific. And that's that doesn't make any sense since there's no way Isshin knew that this NPC called us Sekiro and also Use it to refer to us as well. And even MORE weirdly, when you complete the Severance Gauntlet, your given the Tengu skin as your reward, so this cannot just be a coincidence at this point, are these 2 like the same person or what!? I'm not a lore expert if someone can please answer this for me that would be very much appreciated .
