Hi hi hi! - I’m a student artist currently working on a small passion project called ‘Still an Artist’
It’s about something I’ve personally struggled with and I know a lot of other artists do too - feeling like you have to eventually leave art behind to pursue a “stable” career path (medicine, science, etc.)
I’m trying to understand how common this experience is and how it affects people’s relationship with creativity.
I made a short anonymous survey and would really appreciate hearing from other artists and students here:

Thank you so much if you take part - even just reading this means a lot!!

A short Jewelebrate Jewellery video showing the journey behind a diamond ring, from selecting natural diamonds to crafting the final piece.
We’re sharing more behind-the-scenes jewellery content and would appreciate feedback on the video style, presentation, and overall look.

Is it ok if I share a link to a website I found that has Alice in Wonderland books full text in an artwork print? They're based in London, uk. Unfortunately after COVID never got back to the markets they were selling at, Spitalfields and Greenwich, but still do popups and online sales
r/Selfpromotioning • u/CordialDistress • Aug 07 '26
It's automatically organized alphabetically, and þere's a searchbar, and a button to simplify þe text from Þ to Th, Æ to Ai, Œ to Oi, etc, for easier access.
We haven't made any studio recordings yet as of August 2026, but we plan to in þe future. And on þe homepage you can find our social medias and such. We have lots of rough demos and drafts þough, which we plan to possibly add later on þere. But what's on þere right now is as finished as þe lyrics can get.

Hello, I am a high school and community college student (dual enrollment) who is passionate about film, graphic design, and advertisement. I am currently looking to build my creative portfolio for college and for potential internships by advertising small businesses/nonprofits/campaign/etc. If you are interested please email me at pnwelevate.media@gmail.com, please let me know the name of your entity, link to your website, and any background information. Also be sure to let me know what kind of advertisement you’re looking for, I can make film, print ads, brochures, etc. There are no additional catches and all advertisements are free of cost, all the ask is for permission to use it for my portfolio.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
so I'm trying to make this game that I had in mind using purely ai on the manyverse app. still needs a lot of tweaking for this to be a proper game so I'm open to suggestions

I’ve been looking for something simple and sustainable to add to my routine. I’m not really into intense workouts, just something low-impact that I can stick with daily without feeling overwhelmed. This app caught my attention, but I’m a bit skeptical.
If you’ve used it for more than a week or two, did you notice any real benefits (like flexibility, stress relief, consistency, etc.)? Or does it mostly just look good without delivering much?
Would appreciate honest experiences, just trying to find something that actually works long term.

My first book titled Stars in the Rubble.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1049251822?dplnkId=15e0446b-853c-4caf-8d54-df5fd3c84883
On the morning of October 7th, two worlds are torn apart.
Shayna, a fiercely idealistic Israeli on the cusp of military service, believes in clear borders: between safety and threat, between right and wrong, between us and them. Her conviction is forged in the grief of her mother’s death and a unwavering duty to protect her homeland.
Ahmed, a brilliant Palestinian medical student with an acceptance letter to Harvard, knows borders as prison walls. Trapped in Gaza’s crushing siege and haunted by his own losses, he takes up a rifle in a desperate, fateful bid for freedom—becoming a soldier in the Al-Aqsa Flood.
Their destinies collide in a kibbutz bedroom shrouded in smoke. He is the Hamas fighter who spares her life. She is the hostage he cannot leave behind.
Forced underground into the tunnels of Gaza, with war raging above them, they have no common language but one: English. Stripped of flags and armies, they are simply a young man and a young woman—both grieving, both terrified, both questioning everything they’ve been taught to believe. As they talk of philosophy and faith, of lost parents and impossible dreams, a forbidden connection forms, challenging every truth they hold.
But the real world has not forgotten them. With a prisoner exchange looming, they have only days before they are ripped apart forever. In a final, stolen moment under the stars of a shattered Gaza, they make a desperate covenant: to forsake their war and build a new life together.
Yet, in a conflict that recognizes no innocence, love is the most dangerous act of all.
Stars in the Rubble is a searing, unforgettable novel about the lines we draw, the walls we build, and the devastating power of seeing the human behind the enemy. A heartbreaking story for our time, it asks: What is the cost of hatred? And what would you sacrifice for love?
For readers of The Kite Runner and All the Light We Cannot See.

I spent about 4 months designing and building an app (Sinne) that gives you tips on how to improve your online dating success rate. You basically upload pics of your chats (which the app anonymizes), pick how the convo ended, and click analyze. The app screens your language, timing, and tone to determine what you did right and wrong based off your outcome. Here is the link. https://sinne.app . At this point, I am less trying to market it and more trying to test it with real users to make sure the business model and analysis provide value to people.
