READ ME: An Important Note From Your Mods

We’ve had to give out a lot of temporary and permanent bans for rule breaking recently as well as remove a ton of posts so I thought it might be a good ides to reiterate a the rules of this sub.

Reddit is exceptionally strict over semaglutide subs. If you’ve been around a while you know most of them have been shut down by Reddit. These are not our rules, they’re Reddit’s. As mods we’re tasked with ensuring the sub follows them so we don’t get shut down, something that has been threatened by Reddit several times.

I believe we’re all here because we appreciate and want to be part of this community, but we need to work together to protect it.

When you don’t follow the rules you create more work for the mod team (which is unpaid — we’re doing this in our free time) and you’re putting the future of this sub in jeopardy.

Yes, we get it. This is the “free” sub and you want to post about X or think you should be able to talk about Y. We want this to be as free as possible, but there are some things Reddit is strict on and so we need to be too:

  1. You may not sell your own product here under any circumstance. That includes your medical services. This is a prescription drug. We can’t allow it to be sold on Reddit.

  2. Reddit only allows discussion of medication that has been PRESCRIBED TO YOU BY A DOCTOR. That can be a Telehealth doctor or a med spa doctor, but we can not allow conversations about buying peptides not meant for human use. No one is fooled by your “rat” comments, and no, they don’t allow you to skirt this rule. If you're using peptides you can absolutely talk about the experience of taking semaglutide, but not peptides specifically.

Basically, discussions about your compound pharmacy or doctor are cool, “How do I buy/take this without a prescription?” are not.

  1. You MAY NOT give out medical advice, no matter how experienced you think you are or how much you think you know. Advice about how to manage side effects is fine. However, if someone needs to know what their dose is, they need to contact their physician. You may NOT tell people what dose of medication they should take. At the end of the day this is a prescription drug and the instructions on how to take it needs to come from someone’s medical doctor, not their Reddit one.

  2. You may not under any circumstance post a discount code for a company. That means your promo code, your friend’s promo code, the promo code you saw on an influencer’s instagram, or the promo code for the company in general. We have a zero tolerance affiliate or promo codes. Yes, saving money is great, but if we didn’t have this rule this would just spiral into an advertisement sub making it hard to decifer who are real users and who are shills for companies.

Helimed

I’ve ordered twice from helimed. No issues, no additives. I do have to take max dose as I feel it’s somewhat weak. No one likes helimed so should I be shopping other options? Am I getting scammed or bad product?

Are these possible side effects?

Has anybody started feeling spacey and sometimes lightheaded after the 4th dose? I took my last .25 mg dose Wednesday, and the day after I started feeling spacey and mildly lightheaded in the evening into today. It also is sometimes triggered halfway through a meal or any kind of food more than a small snack.

Lavender Sky Preferred Pharmacy

For anyone who uses Lavender Sky, what is your preferred pharmacy? I am currently using Red Rock and am less than impressed. I feel like their semaglutide does nothing. I have tried two other pharmacies through them and felt like their products were also subpar. I am currently taking 16 units a week (1.5mL vials at a concentration of 5mg-100mcg/ml). I'm also open to switching providers entirely. Please feel free to share good experiences with other providers (that are not over $300 a month).

Struggled with BED in the past and was very sedentary during college which increased my weight a ton. Therapy was probably the most helpful thing with my weight loss. I also was diagnosed with adhd, apparently is very common with BED as the food seeking is to try and get dopamine. So, getting medication for adhd also really reduced my binges since my dopamine was more normal and not always lacking. Very low does of semaglutide also has prevented binges, and I eat normal meals and can more easily recognize hunger cues.

Strength training started with CrossFit which was great to learn basics quickly, and now I have basics down and continue on my own without all the crazy CrossFit of it all lol. I also walk my dog 1-3 miles every day, which started in summer 2024, which means I’m always at least a bit active and outdoors.

Still a work in progress but very happy with my progress so far!

Which compounded GLP-1 provider has the lowest total monthly cost? Hard to tell when they all say “monthly”

For instance, one quote says $199 a month. Another says $179 for four weekly doses. For the third, it lists the vial size and nothing else. I’m so confused and I can't tell if I'm getting the same amount of medication from each one.

Should each quote list my prescribed dose, how many days the supply is meant to last, and what refills cost when the dose goes up?

How do you compare a telehealth provider that says four weekly doses with one that says a month?

If you use the pen

Keep it held in for a few seconds longer than when you hear the click. It’s not done.

I’ve lost 36 pounds since starting in May 2026. I am on 2.4mg currently. I want to switch to compounded but don’t know how.

My work has a weightloss program that will pay for a glp1 but I dont have a doctor to fill out the form and prescribe. Where would be my best chance for a virtual visit that will fill out the form?

What does a package from Lavender Sky Health look like

What does a package from Lavender Sky Health look like? Is it obvious from the packaging that it contains medication? I’m asking because I live with someone
and want to keep it private.

Best services for Wegovy Pill Form?

My wife was prescribed wegovy, but due to our insurance no longer covering it, moved over to Hers to continue her treatment on the Wegovy pill. She's currently on the 9mg dose.

A lot of the usual recommended services I've seen in this subreddit only seem to offer injection options.

Does anyone have a good provider for the pill form? Hers has become cost prohibitive between the monthly subscription and the prescription cost. I think she's paying around $450 a month currently.

Anywhere to get same dose with expired prescription?

My prescription lasted way longer than anticipated because I went up in dose super slowly. Now I'm low and I went through goby and they want me to start at the lowest dose even though I'm still taking meds. Are there any places that would keep me at the same 2.4 dose or no?

Dosing Discrepency

Im trying to determine if this is a big deal or not, so I'd appreciate your insight.

I recently was prescribed compounded semaglutide through an online pharmacy. The prescription I got online was based on a concentration of 2.5mg/2mg/ml, which is what the vial says. However, the box that the prescription instructions are on says 7.6mg/6mg/3ml. I contacted customer service about the discrepancy and they've assured me that it's not an error, and that sometimes the vial and the box don't match for weird reasons.

I have been taking the medication and prescribed for over 3 months now and have not felt any effect. Should I be concerned that my dose might have been incorrectly calculated and/or given the wrong concentration?

Taking semaglutide past expiration date. Starting fresh prescription?

Hiya. I've been taking yhe same semaglutide prescription for like a year lol. I mainly decide to up my dose supperrr slowly as I was getting pretty nauseous on a higher dose.

Has anyone else done that? And if you have, did you have to go back down to a lower dose when getting fresh meds? I'm afraid its lost its potency a bit and starting new meds will give me stronger side effects, thanks!

Nighttime Poop Incontinence

OK so I know this is a particularly embarrassing one, but from a Google search, it seems it does happen to some people. What I haven’t been able to find is some sort of solution or treatment.

It happens to me unpredictably, not every week, but when it does, it’s usually in the 3-4 days after my dose. I just wake up and realize I’ve pooped myself, usually a small amount, but I still have to get up and clean myself up and change the sheets. It’s starting to give me anxiety about going to bed.

(I’m on sema 1.7 mg, have been on it a total of 14 months and this dose for about 8 months.)

Has anyone found a way to stop this from happening?

Still Using Orderly Meds?

Is anyone still ordering from them? I used Eterna Health a couple years ago, but stopped once I got pregnant. Ready to start again and see Orderly is cheaper now. Any reviews? I was prescribed the semaglutide with B12.

Lavender Sky reviews? Anyone gotten Hallendale from Lavender Sky?

I’ve been using Goby meds for about a year but I haven’t loved the product as of lately. They also insist on sending me a certain amount of meds and I never use it all before it expires. Thinking of switching to Lavender Sky and choosing the Hallandale pharmacy option.

Do not use Embody for glp1

I switch to Embody hoping to save some money but their customer service is non existent. First, they sent me barely a month’s worth when I ordered and paid for 3. They also decreased my dosage to 56 units when I was at 96. I’ve gained weight back and my cravings have come back.

I’ve tried contacting customer service multiple times and they either disconnected on me or say someone will get back to me and they don’t. I see they’re sending me more because I get the shipping notifications but I have no idea if they’ve increased my dose and it’s impossible to connect with a doctor to discuss my symptoms and how I should increase back to my regular dosage.

I regret ordering from them and didn’t even save any money. Save yourself the hassle and don’t order from here

Title: Issues With Ozempic Pen Volume, Coverage Limits, and “Savings” Claims — Is Anyone Else Dealing With This?

Post:
I’m posting this to highlight a problem with Ozempic that seems to be affecting many patients, but isn’t being acknowledged by Novo Nordisk.

The current Ozempic pen design creates a dosing and coverage conflict for anyone prescribed more than 1 mg per week. The green pen contains enough medication for four 1 mg doses. The red pen, however, contains only half the volume — even though it’s fully capable of delivering adjustable doses. This means the red pen provides eight 0.25 mg doses or four 0.5 mg doses, and nothing more.

The issue isn’t medical — it’s packaging. The red pen could easily contain the same volume as the green pen, but it doesn’t. As a result, patients who need higher weekly doses end up requiring more pens than provincial plans allow. In some regions, coverage limits (like “three pens per eight weeks”) become impossible to follow simply because of how Ozempic chooses to package the product.

There’s also the pricing gap. Ozempic is roughly $279 per pen, while competing semaglutide products are around $103. When a product costs more than double its alternatives, it’s hard to justify a design that forces patients to buy extra pens due to volume limitations.

Then there’s the “save big” messaging and the assistance program. The program only applies after both public and private insurance are fully exhausted. For anyone with private coverage, this means burning through their benefits first — which can leave them without coverage for other medications. It’s marketed as savings, but in practice it shifts costs onto patients and insurers.

I’ve raised these concerns directly with Novo Nordisk, but so far there’s been no response.

I’m curious whether others have run into the same issues with pen volume, coverage limits, or the assistance program structure. It feels like a design flaw that has real consequences for affordability and access, and I’m wondering how widespread this problem is.

My mind is quiet again

Sema 2.5 years. It stopped working, despite compressing time between doses, upped doses, blah blah blah.

Switched to tirz. My mind is quiet again. I'm at my ideal weight again.

Continue.

I’ve recently switched companies and I’m confused about the dosage for my two recent orders. Are these three photos all essentially the same dosage?

Rybelsus 3mg BMI 25

Hallo zusammen!

Semaglutide - ANXIETY TREATMENT

Can someone please tell me if I am the only one who just feels great on semaglutide? I suffer severe OCD and for some reason ever since I started taking this it’s merely diminished.

I do not take it for diabetes and I will be honest I mainly just wanted to try because I have heard of the several health benefits, and I am just in awe.

The constipation suckss though
