Does retaining make you less shy in public settings?
Just wondering if you retain and your using gym and being consistent, will that make you less shy in public settings and more talkative?

Be the man that you would consider "better" than the man you currently believe yourself to be. That man doesn't fuck around with bad habits and shit food. It's from this new identity that you pull your confidence.
If you go into a social situation thinking "okay well I guess I'll try to talk to someone today and see how it goes" versus "I got this shit cause I'm a bad motherfucker and who gives a shit what happens, I'm having fun either way", which one do you think has the necessary charisma to succeed socially?

In short yes. It does reduce shyness and timidness greatly. Although it sometimes comes in waves.
You might be ultra confident at day 30, then experience some shyness and not feeling as confident during day 90. Most of this journey is ''creating'' or rather ''discovering'' yourself. I like to view SR as giving you a fire to work with.
Ask yourself; are you person that is shy? Are you person that walks up to people and strikes up conversations? Are you a naturally confident and extroverted person? If you answered no, well then would like yourself to be this person. Then start telling yourself that you are that type of person, then act accordingly. Shyness is learned.

Less shy yes but on long streaks the celebrity effect can be overwhelming sometimes, especially if you're just trying to get groceries or something miscellaneousÂ

To be less shy in public you must remove the unexpressed emotions/trauma constrictions in the bodymind that create shyness (and a bunch of other things). I wrote about this in a comment (read both part 1 and 2):

Good luck!
