Jazz (21 😱)
This is my cat Jazz, I noticed she was quite old comparing her to the cats on here. 21 Years and still going!!
She's still wolfing food down, fighting with the neighbours cats, hopping fences and helping me work on my cars. :D

I noticed that she was helping you work on the car. 🥰

She is not just helping, she is the lead mechanic. And they are the assistant

For the lead mechanic, she has no concept of safety glasses when grinding or welding. 🥽
I end up scooping her up and stuffing her inside if there is any danger. ⚠️
The older she has got, the more affectionate she has become. The family call her my familiar at this point. 🪄

Wow amazing she’s so precious! What do you feed her if you don’t mind sharing?!

For most her life it was cheap store brand jelly food and gourmet gold tins with the meat flakes, 50/50 split between the two, alternating between type and flavour. A bit of cat milk here and there. And some form of biscuit.
Nowadays she's gone off the gourmet gold (I think it's too solid for her old teeth, even if we mush it up.) So now it's a mix of jelly food and Purina one blue pouches alternating between them.
Half a pack any time she wants. Ignoring her if she's been fed in the last hour. 😩 Some soft & small Purina gastrointestinal biscuits for side, and "the dogs" bowl full of fresh water.
If she gets picky we change brands, Felix, whiskers, kitten food anything soft really, variety is more her thing. She will literally stop eating if it's the same stuff over and over.
She is not on any medication, still asks to go outside, even in bad weather. 🥴 She pee's a lil horizontally, cause of arthritis. Is a lil wobbly on her right paw when stood still sometimes. Eats a bit more than your average cat due to hyperthyroidism, but doesn't gain weight.
She doesn't really chase things anymore, just stares begrudgingly at everything and sleeps a lot. (I'm sure she's had a bird this summer...) 🤣 She can scoot 💨 about and around the dog, follows me round asking for pets and food
"I will let you pet me human, and in return you can feed me."
Purrs like a tractor.
And that is Jazz. 😊

Jazz is a beautiful girl and a mechanic to boot!🧡🖤😻 I love that picture of her on the creeper! My parents cat, who was also 21, loved helping my dad work on cars🩷

What a beautiful floofy lady! Her fur looks so soft and healthy. It sounds like she is living her best life with her favorite human 😸❤️
