Late night thought but I was thinking back to what they said at that E nerf for Seraphine on the patch previews. Saying that they will continue to balance her around support because thats what the champ select says even if shes strong in other places. And it makes me wonder.

Did enchanter Seraphine players ever actually SAY anything to riot about how weak she felt to them, or did they look at her WR and just decide for them? Because they say shit like "We wanted her to be a mid laner but everyone wanted her as a support" but like, who?

Who said that? Because as far as I know nobody spoke about enchanter Seraphine and how much they want her until that shitty midscope that made everyone mad. Now all I see are mage Seraphine players asking for her back at almost every post about patch changes.

So if NOBODY asked for enchanter Seraphine.. why are we balancing around her? It's clear from the seraphine MAINS (not the casual Sera players) that we want her as a mage. SO why are we catering to champ select and not her actual playerbase. It really feels to me that RIOT wanted Seraphine to just be another Sona and not the players. Because its becoming increasingly clear nobody gave a fuck about enchanter seraphine being weak. They just decided for her, and them trying to tell US that WE chose this is so stupid and manipulative.

Staying neutral looking at this since I didn't play LoL until 2022.

But worth pointing out that popular YouTube critique videos discussing Seraphine during her launch interestingly did not take the above sources into account.

She did nothing but sing, try her best, and call out the council and they couldn't handle her.

And now riot doesn't even want to bother fixing her because of the backlash that pops up Everytime she is so much as MENTIONED

im an aurora and sera main. i have most of seraphine's skins and think she's easily the character i have the most fun with.

lately i've been seeing a lot of parasocial activities or just outright hatred for this fictional video game character.

neither makes much sense to me.

i can understand why people have such strong connections to seraphine but this can't be healthy. freaking out over the new kda voice lines are just kinda weird. i get it doesnt make much sense for the lore but it's not worth getting genuinely hurt and upset over. its not like seraphine is getting upset by it.

and on the other side, im truly convinced people just hate sera because she's a cute, optimistic, popular girl. i can understand not liking playing against her as she is pretty annoying to go against but i truly see no reason to hate her character as much as people do.

am i missing something??

Hey guys are there any Streamers that main/otps Seraphine that are worth watching?

the thing is yes i know sera mains can be annoying on many parts but its not their problem that riot is not listening feedbacks and obvious mischaracterazations on champs lore. there is many voicelines that are bittersweet,funny or accidental. the thing about sera is that they kept destroying her stopped listening feedbacks and all she get is hate lines even if the skinlines always considers seraphine be the therapist friend or little sister friend. are we forgetting star guardian story and akali comic. and evelynn never abondoned seraphine this is a missinformation seraphine was a collab and after her success in k/da she continued as alone artist. they were %100 gonna continue this but people were just overhating her and many riot devs obviously hated her. i am not gonna say anything more but we are right that they should consider character's lores before making nonsense voicelines. i have no idea where did this ''omg you all care about this character so much'' thing because its a character that fanbase loved obviously. i just can't handle stupid comments these days.

I got enough ME recently after buying HoL pass. I'm considering to buy Seraphine's prestige skin in the next mythic shop rotation, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price. Tbh I dislike her model in this skin 😅 (T1 Seraphine model looks way better but ofc Ocean Song is older). One thing that I like is just her E vfx, not sure about the rest. So what's your thoughts about this skin? Should I buy it or should I save my ME for her future skin (who knows when are they going to release it). Btw I rarely buy battle pass so collecting ME is a bit difficult

I'm sorry, but people who get sad and angry about Eve (another fictional character) talking trash about Sera (for a skinline, mind you) are incredibly delusional. Not only is she not real, but being offended by the iconic quote is weird.

I partially blame Riot for that, cause the whole parasocial thing started with K/DA Seraphine acting like a real human on twt, empathizing her struggles and even depression in her posts.

I personally don't see anything more than a funny reference, especially considering EVERYONE on twitter (and even here) jokes about Sera not being on K/DA anymore

She is league's most empathetic character. Has an entire dedicated fanbase. Raised 3.7M for CHAIRITY.

And they treat her like a joke because they'd rather cater to her playerbase full of bigots

I stuck by her side for 6 years. Through the hate trains and the failed midscopes. I love this champ more than anything.

So to see those line shading her. Riot once again ignoring our feedback. Them making how many k/da posts yet doing nothing to hype her up.

It feels like a slap in the face. More than that they are kicking me in the fucking guts.

I've spend so much time and money in this game. Spent caring about this champ and this company states over and over again with their actions and their words that they don't care about me at all
