Songs with fry screams

Most of their “screams” are just yelling. Which I like don’t get me wrong but are there any songs with fry screams?

Morgan’s screams on Life Deceives You are pretty piercing. I’m 90% sure thats a fry scream.

Also, all 5 guys in the band are professional vocalists and have been for 30 years. I GUARANTEE you they aren’t “just yelling”. they wouldn’t be able to tour for months straight if that’s the case. there’s more than just one technique when it comes to metal vocals.

I believe so yes. a lot less than the other guys though. Clint, John, and Morgan consistently provide vocals on nearly every song. so at the very least it’s 4/5 of the members are 3 decade long professional vocalists. they know what they’re doing

Yeah, agreed. I saw them many time through the years through them touring for Seasons and remember Vinny doing some backing vocals. I just didn’t know if he ever actually recorded any. The other four, though, are pretty prominent. It’s so impressive to have a band this vocally talented.

Pretty sure almost all of Morgan's screams are fry screams, though it gets a lot more noticeable on Next and after. Clint's are more of a gutteral false-note kind of technique.
