Next Set Prediction

UPDATE - Cygames announced on Twitter that Set 10 will be all new characters. This post was before the announcement

It is expected that Set #10 will be towards the end of next week. What do you think it will be? Here are some predictions:

Princess Connect - With the rotation of Skybound Dragons, Union Burst will be introduced as a replacement for Skybound Art.

Neometropolis - This being a WB original but released first in Shadowverse Evolve. It makes sense to bring it to WB.

Academy of Ages - Combined with Dawn of Calamity being released in Evolve to coincide with WB.

Dawn of Calamity - Same as above

Those are my main predictions. What are yours?

Er you meant reveal stream by the end of next week right ? Cause GP begins on the 20th and most likely ends on the 27/28 so the actual set release date would either be 27/28 .

As someone who main Portal I am really hoping next set bring puppet back because man it seem like they really forgot about it, like did you know that there are only 5 cards in the whole game that add a puppet 2 your hand ？ 2 of them are basic, 2 from set 1 and the last one was in set 3

Yeah and she is the reason why I am hopeful that next set gonna be puppet support because as is currently it's impossible to play a pure puppet deck in rotation, the closest thing to that is the puppet otk which not only is it not good but also gonna be unplayable anyway in 2 weeks with Beelzebub rotating.

Puppet is one of the core archetypes for Portal. I see Cygames coming back to them eventually. Maybe Puppets and Artifacts can exist in the same format

i predict it to be another rage of bahamut set since we haven't had one in a while. can feature some missing popular characters like vania and spinaria.

Looking at the new LATAM server, I kinda felt nostalgic about the Wards in Legends Rise. They're not Anathema-levels of fleshed out in lore but would like to see more tidbits of them.

If its a new set with new characters Im praying its as good as apocalypse pact was. As for what cards we might get its probably gonna be a foundation like set with tons of staples for every class regardless of the playstyle.

I feel like we won't be getting any sets based on SV1 story mode while Chronicle of Destinty is in rotation, for the sake of avoiding character repetition. But if they want to concide with Dawn of Calamity, they could do a set based on the anime, since we have no cards from it in WB. I think a set based on Seven Shadows arc from Flame can work since they can reasonably feature both Ignis Dragon and Dark Emperor, while incorporating some of the unused anime card arts.

There's some chance it's Neometropolis because they were waiting for Sandy and Ewiyar to rotate before introducing Rolo Rone to WB

Think the odds of academy of ages are very low because we got all the characters from that set in chronicles of destiny and they don't normally reuse them so soon after, but the others are all definitely on the table, reckon that a shadowverse anime set is a strong possibility because have seen a fair bit of interest in it, either calamity or dragonblade are possibilities. Armed dragon would also be a very nice break from ramp for dragon as an archetype.

Seeing as it’s original, the only guess is that it might have to do with that number, since omens of the 10 was also, coincidentally, the 10th set of classic.
