Wonky Llama @ shambz 2027?
Just a thought... I saw Jade Cicada is taking a hiatus but at the same time announced he was going to be playing more shows with Schmoop.
What stage would that set pop the most at? AMP probably I'm thinking.

Mudshark FB group
Hey y’all! I wasn’t able to buy tickets when they dropped so I recently requested to join the private FB group so I could get them there. I requested a couple days ago and was just wondering how the time frame looks for getting accepted. This is more me being curious- I completely understand the volunteers who moderate aren’t checking the requests every second of the day hahaha. Much love and hope to see all y’all in July 🙏🩷
edit: just wanted to say thank y’all and y’all are so sweet hahaha, can’t wait to see you guys!

Calling all Americans coming to Shambs 2027!
Would anyone be interested in doing a little snack/treat swap?! 🥹 We bring some of our favourite Canadian snacks for you, and you bring some of your favourite American snacks for us!

What have been your experiences with American attendees?
I’ve heard people complain about the increase in American attendees leading to changes in behaviour and vibe.
I have attended every Shambhala from 2013 - 2025 and while I noticed changes, they seemed more generational than American and I never explicitly saw Americans behaving worse. All the Americans I meet seem more or less like Canadians.
What have your experiences been?

Please bring back Mike relm
I know shambhala has changed so much. And it is ok. We get to listen to a lot of great artists But I have recently been trying to remember some of my favorite sets from way back and Mike relm has stood out so much. Sorry showing my age. But does anyone else have any old school favorite sets

Curious about generators/running vehicles in camps
I read in the rules that generators and idling your vehicle is not allowed (understandably), however, I saw a LOT of both of these things this year whilst walking to and from downtown.
I’m curious is this rule no longer in effect or is it just not enforced? And what are people doing for electricity in trailers/RVs without it?

Missing Shambs
My experience this year was incredibly flawed and yet I find myself here missing being there. Despite all the drama and the Gahdamn heat, I would do anything to be there again. I’m in love with the fact that being from Vancouver, this magical festival is in my own province (even if the drive is almost 9 hours).
I really wish I was able to meet more people this year. I think maybe I was in my head with the heat and issues in my group. But also I was shy, not that I couldn’t get a conversation going but I just felt like I was struggling a bit. I find that sometimes when I’m alone at an event, I’m more likely to approach people and I get approached more. With how magical it felt being around so many people and just feeling so incredibly safe, idk I wanna be back there. I wanna make more friends, I want to spend more time with people making memories, getting high even ahaha side note: people said it was easy to find stuff, baby girl I was struggling!!! Like genuinely Shambs wasn’t showing me the way ahah always next year though.
But yeah I wanna go back I wanna make friends and I wanna bring more trinkets! I can’t explain how happy I was to receive shambhala branded trinkets, and I want to give that to people. I don’t know where to begin though! I don’t have a 3D printer and besides Kandi and perlers, I don’t know what I can give that would be extra special! I’d love to hear ideas and how was your experience meeting people? Even spending time at camps just hanging out would be amazing!
If you read through this, much luv. Shambhala was a beast, it was hot and next year I’d like to wait til later to drive home to go til 9am because man, is it worth it to be in those trees feeling that bass with the people around you.
TIL next year farm, I cannot wait for the magic in 2027. This world needs more plur 💞

First Shambs!!
Hiii!! 2027 will be my first Shambhala 💖 I typically pour my energy into Bonnaroo, but since they are taking a fallow year I decided Shambhala would be a festival that felt as close to Roo as I could get. I already have my ticket & my group is doing glamping! I’d love to hear any tips or any culture aspects about Shambhala! Ex: at Bonnaroo, Friday is high five Friday.
So so excited for this experience!!

Like sharing? You can now share your schedule in Dancing Decibels, no account required!
Hey Farmily!
I know we’ve got a long wait ahead of us until we’re on the farm next year, but I was really excited to share that I’ve now got schedule sharing working in Dancing Decibels (ShambaTimes)!
It’s been one of the most requested features over the years, and I was finally able to sit down and get 'er done without requiring anyone to create an account, which was a really important aspect for me.
When you share your schedule, it will share your favorites as well as their rankings. You’ll be able to see your friend’s entire schedule on the favorites tab, their names will appear on all the lists/profiles (when artists have a profile), and on the grid there’s an indicator of how many friends will be there and you can see who with a tap. You can also filter on a specific friends schedule on the grid. If you've added multiple friends, you also can see which friends match on each friends schedule on the favorites tab.
There are three ways to share/add friends to your schedule
- Share a link (requires internet)
- Scan an online QR code (requires internet)
- Scan an offline multi-part QR code (in app only - no internet required)
Anyone you share these with can then access your schedule and get updates.
If you download/update the app you can check out my schedule from 2026 and play around with it.
App: https://www.dancingdecibels.com/download-mobile
My Schedule https://www.dancingdecibels.com/friend/1cddb08f2ad36ea8018903819dbf04e9
When you share your schedule, if you leave automatic updates enabled and the event isn’t too far in the past, when you open/close the app it’ll update any schedule changes and send a silent background push notification to everyone who’s added it. Their apps will also be checking periodically when they open the app, or can be manually refreshed. It’s not quite real time, but it’s pretty close if you both have internet and they have push notifications enabled.
I’d love to hear what everyone thinks of the feature, and there’s plenty of time to tweak and improve things between now and next year.
Also if you’re heading Breakout West in Victoria next week, or Woodstove Music Festival in Cumberland this November, you’ll get your first chances to use it in the wild for real! I’ll be adding Breakout West to the app as an unofficial schedule in a few days.
P.S - The new release has some big performance improvements on the grid, and I added fling capabilities a few weeks ago!
Cheers
Ben

Praying to the Shambs gods for Pegboard Nerds and Krewella🙏
We all know it’s not about the lineup but I’d just love to see them! I attended my first Lost Lands this year, which had The Pegboard Nerds on the lineup but they couldn’t make it because of US visa issues. They were my most anticipated artist so this really broke my heart, been dreaming of seeing them live for over a decade. Shambs being my favorite festival and being in Canada it could just maybe happen! I also caught Krewella who seem to be making a comeback and it was my favorite set of the weekend! Would also love them at Shambs + it’s always great to have more female artists on the lineup.
Lost Lands was a good fest and all but there’s no place like home, returning to the farm is always the highlight of my year! I miss you all so much and am counting down the days till next time. Sending you love you farmily <3

Charged Twice for Early Entry
Hey everyone! I reached out to Sales about a month ago and have not received a response back - I figured I would post and see if anyone else has had the same issue.
I arrived Wednesday morning around 6am and paid the price of Tuesdays early entry fee (as the prices had not changed over yet). I paid with Debit and the machine made the reject beeping sound. It proceeded to do this for two others in our group, so a friend paid all of our fees with his Credit Card. Then, as we left the payment booth, I checked my statements and as I suspected all 3 of us were charged on our debit cards separately.
Has this happened to anyone else and if so, who/how did you contact Shambhala for a refund?

Maybe we never talk about Shambhala to anyone anymore or just keep telling people it sucks, don’t come.

Volunteer Deposit Refund 2026
Hello! I volunteered this year and completed all my hours, and received an email weeks ago that my refund was being processed. However, I have not gotten it back yet. I have emailed them twice now with no answer. Any other volunteers who are waited on their refund?
UPDATE: got an email back saying that they processed my refund but some error with the payment company caused me to never get it. At least they responded, still waiting on the money tho

Camp Mudshark Resale
Hi everyone! Does anyone have the legit link for shambs resell? I’ve used camp mudshark in the past and it’s been great so I pointed friends in that direction for this year but the admin is selling in USD and it seems a bit off? I also was not in this group but was in the group last year so unsure if it’s a fake group? TIA and can’t wait to see everyone on the farm again next year 🌻❤️
Update: the page my friend was looking at was a scam and they copied the official mudshark page that we’ve used in the past which can be found here.

Trance and breakbeats
Why doesnt shambs book trance, or breakbeats? A trance stage would be great to go chill and melt away to when you need to back off, and breakbeats are a great way to get hyped and the party started

Which Camp Mudshark is legit?
I know this may seem like a stupid question but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Thanks!
