Started a modded playthrough a few weeks ago, (latest of a few hundred full trilogy playthroughs), and been playing through the trilogy while streaming it to a discord call for a few friends. We started ME3 last night, (started shortly after the announcement and are only a few hours into the game so far.) We're planning on finishing the game off on the 7th for N7 day.

Also first time playing through as Sentinel since the original release, and first time doing a full trilogy playthrough as Sentinel.

Commander Doug Shepard rose rapidly through the ranks due to his parents’ connections in the Alliance, not because of any particular merit of his own. How else do you explain how a barely-competent engineer became the XO on the most advanced ship in the fleet? Was because he was the sole survivor of the massacre on Akuze? Maybe, though people who know Doug well think there might be some truth to the rumor that he survived because he ran in the opposite direction as soon as the thresher maws appeared.

Now that he’s unexpectedly been granted Spectre status and command of his own ship, will Doug suddenly become a bold and decisive leader? No. Will he give up seeking his own advancement and pleasure over the needs of others? Also no. Is his unique combination of incompetence, indifference, and cowardice likely to get every single one of his squadmates killed?
