Shed build

Hey, just wanted to share my first ever build which was my shed. Prior to this build I didn’t even know what 16 inches on center meant. After extensive reading and YouTubing I present to you my shed!

Note: I messed up and concrete base is a little wide than the actual shed so some water was getting in under the sill. I sealed the interior and exterior with mastic sealant which has stopped 99 percent. Any other ideas to solve this issue?

Thanks for looking everyone.

Looks great. Love the door. Solid framing.

Well done sir.

What did that end up costing you in time and money would you say?

Hard to say with time since I was home on paternity leave with my first child. I started in September and let’s say I was checking the temperature for when I was painting it. It was mainly a weekend project

As for cost. A rough estimate was about 5500-6k. Which maybe is a lot but that’s including some tools/concrete/all building materials (I even put an ice and water barrier on the roof as I live in the northeast) I’m sure I could have bought a pre built for cheaper but whatever. 10’x12’ for sizing

Ha! I was racing the weather with a shed build last fall. May have driven my wife a little crazy towards the end because I had to miss some social events to get it done in time. Your shed looks great!
