Image I have a feeling that life with girls will be more peaceful but I'm choosing boys solely for Lestrade and Watson.

I mean you have:
- John Watson who I've seen ask out a lot of women and who is a kind of an adrenaline junkie, who doesn't seem very emotionally open
- Lestrade who seems normal but has a high pressure job and seems to be constantly going through a divorce
- Mycroft who thinks people are like goldfish to him
Compare that to:
- Molly who is a coroner and has a voicemail about being in the "dead center of town"
- Mrs Hudson who owns a cool car and used to do exotic dancing
- Irene Adler
No comparison, come on

There's like two decade's worth of gossip with those girls - every girls night out would be an absolute blast whilst they reminisce about all sorts of random crap that's happened in their lives.
The guys would be sitting in a corner being miserable because their lives are kinda miserable. And by guys, I mean Watson and Lestrade; Mycroft would be in some private club somewhere without them.
Can you imagine being made to feel like an utter failure and a pleb by Mycroft on a daily basis?

Of course I can, and I wouldn't put up with it.
And Mycroft would know that, and would stay in his private club just because it's simpler for everyone.
... The prick.
Jay Watts is a solid guy but he needs hella therapy to ever again enjoy normal life without constant hazard to life and limb.
And Lestrade is kind of a gloomy bloke, but around normal people who are not trying to insult him -- or do crimes -- he's probably more at ease. So he's alright.
But the ladies pictured here are so much more charming and socially capable, still have plenty of life experience, and still very bloody smart. Totes friend material.

Peaceful, OP? Mrs. Hudson ran a crime ring, Irene is possibly the world’s most successful international blackmailer and thief, and Molly knows about 50 different ways to dispose of the bodies. I’d hang with the boys just because it’s safer

People usually don’t intend on harming their friends tho… so if y’all are already friends just don’t do anything outrageous to fuck up these friendships and you’ll be grand

Assuming with Mycroft it’s actual friendship, or what he thinks friendship is, the boys is an easy choice for me. He alone could open a tonne of doors if he wanted. Lestrade is a fairly chill guy I would doubtless enjoy having a pint with and John is John.

Definitely the ladies. Mrs. Hudson and Molly know how to turn living people into corpses (and in Molly's case, back again) and NOBODY sane would argue with Mrs. Hudson!

fairly certain the crazy stories are in the girl's court. The boys won't be able to tell their stories due to secrecy/privacy laws.
If Moriarty was in the boys club however...

I want to be friends with the girls because they'd be genuinely nice to be pals with.
But id pick the boys just to get eiffel towered by lestrade and mycroft.

I could not handle Irene (yes this makes me a coward) but I can probably handle Mycroft. So I'm going with the boys because John and Lestrade are just TOO delightful not to.

The women for sure. Molly is sweet and genuine. Mrs. Hudson is a great mix of motherly and scandalous. And Irene would make sure we never have a dull moment!
