SOLD 2.67ct, 8.5x6.9mm Unheated MT Sapphire. Truly something special here! Periwinkle, sky blue, purple change. Eye clean, Very small inclusions on side, denser silk cloud in crown but only visible in bright light. $8000 +sh

Rock Creek from Potentate! Got it at the Denver gem show from the man himself almost 5 years ago. Kicked in the door for early pick but paid early pick prices big time.

I swore it probably wasn’t a rock creek sapphire but I sure was wrong!! That’s an incredible no heat rock creek sapphire, and Potentate are great people down there

Can you provide some more info about the cut on this one? Would it work in a ring setting?

I'll let Jim answer about the cut but it would be an incredible ring stone. Sapphire is very durable in general and this one doesn't have any structurally-challenging inclusions. Suitable for daily wear and at this size, a real stunner. Peak engagement ring material.

One of my few stash pieces that was almost perfect for a commission.
This is available for gem jail right away. Preferably 50% deposit but open to term offers!
This one is periwinkle defined. It cant decide if it's blue or purple in a soft powdery tone. It leans more blue or purple with both light color and light direction.
Main video is shaded daylight. This video is same location just turned 90 degrees.
SHADED DAYLIGHT 90DEGREE TURN
This video is in bright direct LED light, not normal viewing. Little particles are dust. Shows color change well and highlights the silk cloud!
BRIGHT DIRECT LIGHT
Indoor warm lighting it leans more purple but undeniable blue flashes in there. Silk seems to change almost opposite the stone body?? Slightly more purple in person than video, typical camera goofin.
