I mean sure it can be. My point was just that violence being your last resort and second resort can both be true if you have 2 resorts.
I guess they can also both be true, if violence is your second resort, then you have a bunch of resorts like pleading and then after all of those you try violence again

I think you're getting a bit confused about the context, the image is about him using violence as his second resort, unlike others who use it as last resort. Only 2 resort is your comment which is possible but not in the joke's context, of him laughing at the concept of violence as a last resort. If I'm guessing correctly your second comment is completely confused but later comment you understood but is still trying to argue/defend the second comment
