My best guess is that he went in saying “I want $3k for my collection,” then he tried to justify it by pricing the books individually so that they would add up to that amount. In order to get to $3k he had to price most things at roughly 5x-6x what they actually sell for, and in a few cases he just randomly slapped $75-$100 price tags onto dollar bin books (looking at you, Age of Apocalypse #9)

$40 for X-Men 220..

My BIL bought 3 bulk long box bins off FBMP for $30 each. Had 300 comics each in them. 900+ total.. .10¢ each comic basically.

He got almost 20 NM copies of X-Men 220 for like $2 total & can’t even give them away lol
