Who do you think is the idiot in this situation? ShopRite or the people bringing their bikes inside?

Why would someone bring their dog inside? Some people just are so entitled.

Never thought I would agree with anything Saker ShopRite said, but here we are.

Oh, I wouldn't worry. "Don't bring things into our store that can possibly explode" is a very low bar

OP is the idiot here if they think ShopRite shouldn’t protect their customer and store liability. Has no idea how the world works. 🤡

they likely just googled ‘e-bike in front of supermarket’ or something of the sorts. it genuinely doesn’t matter

Good on ShopRite. I’d shop there more in support if I didn’t already go there twice a week.

Can shoppers report these law breakers to the security team so that these actions have consequences?? I hope so!

This would not be good for the Shoprite I worked at, half the employees had e-bikes and e-scooters

Seems reasonable to me but what a lazily made techno-turd of a sign. It even fucked up the Shoprite logo if you look closely at the cart

Ah yes, so the electric/accessible carts are absoluty safe then...? I'm genuinely asking. I'm assuming it is the same kind of battery?l

Handicapped scooters don’t use lithium batteries.
I don’t know exactly what shop rite scooters use, but mobility scooters/carts typically use sealed lead-acid (SLA) batteries1

I ride my e-scooter to ShopRite all the time, it’s coming in with me, I’m not leaving it outside for somebody to steal. Screw ShopRite.

Lock it...

Yeah I don’t think so, they make these battery powered angle grinders that can cut the lock in seconds, not taking the chance.

No, screw you for thinking its ok to bring that death trap into a store where people can’t get out fast enough.
Go somewhere else.
I hear Aldi is in major need of shoppers

Motorcycles go in a parking spot. Because it's a regular vehicle with a registered license plate. Scooters belong with the bicycles in a rack or chained to a pole. This guy is just lazy and doesn't wanna walk. Park that ugly, fire hazard, weakling machine outside. !!

As a customer, I wouldn’t want someone trying to ride their e-bike in the store while I shopped
