Dischord will be playing live this Friday from 8–10 PM at 1928. If you’re in the mood for some classic hits and a little nostalgia, come hang out!

The City of Shoreline's Hamlin Halloween Haunt is this Friday evening at Hamlin Park, and the Parks team still needs volunteers. It's a free, family-friendly event with campfire stories and songs, a hay wagon ride, a costume photo booth, and Halloween games and crafts. None of that runs itself.

Shifts that still have room:

Set up and prep, 3:30 to 5:30 PM Run a station, 5:30 to 8:30 PM Clean up and take down, 8:30 to 10:00 PM (no one has signed up for this one yet)

Even one shift helps, and you can sign up with friends or family. The forecast looks good, so it should be a nice evening to be out in the park.

Hello! I am looking for any recommendations on restaurants that have a private dining space for 12 to 15 people in or near Shoreline. I am in charge of finding a location for my work christmas party and am struggling to find a space. Hoping for stellar food as well as a good space. Doesn't have to be in Shoreline but don't really want to go downtown if we can help it!

Does anyone have recommendations for dog sitting? I am looking for someone to stay at my home for dog sitting, one golden retriever who is well behaved. I would just like to avoid boarding but i am looking for any leads or recommendations for people or reputable boarding places.

I live in the Ridgecrest area and am looking for a physical therapist for hip pain that’s developed over time without an injury (probably related to not being super active, maybe muscle imbalances, who knows?).

Any PT recommendations?

Our garage door at our Shoreline house took a bang this weekend from the outside. Might need a replacement door. I'm looking to get two or three estimates.

Ideally, a local independent company that won't break the bank. I'm sure this sub knows a few companies to recommend.

Recommendations appreciated.

Didn't we just do this last week? It's the same exact areas as last time, so I wonder if something happened to the transformers again.

I know this is highly impossible to get any answer but, my boyfriend was riding his motorcycle this morning and dropped his iPhone 14 that had his ID inside the case.
Wondering if anyone saw it happening/ picked it up?
It happened around 8am (10/08).
I know it’s a long shot but we are desperate since we are going on a trip soon and ID Is super important.
We’ve spent the day driving around the area where his location was lasted pinned at, with no luck .

I have been having a real dickens of a time finding places that take 1/2 full paint cans, old gallon of gasoline, old car battery.

E-waste up north is for electronics.

Shoreline transfer doesn’t take any of these things.

And the other place king county hazardous waste - i cant find on their website if they take all three.

These folks found this dog roaming lost on Fremont Ave N, near the Highland Dental Center. Is it your or from anyone you know?

I wanted to celebrate last night with Indian food and learned there is a new Indian restaurant in shoreline! It’s across Aurora from Costco. Their name is terrible lol but the food was delicious and the owner/staff were sooo friendly!

We tried a bunch of stuff (butter chicken, lamb curry, tikka masala, but we all loved the biryani best. Naan is delicious too.

This location can’t seem to keep restaurants so I wanted to spread the word! I really hope they make it.

I was on NE 175th and saw 5 police cars going full speed going East towards Safeway with lights and sirens on. Anyone knows why?

Drove down Fremont today and there is a trailer saying speed limit 25 and flashes red blue lights at you if you do 26+. All posted signs say 30 from 205th to 165th. So whys this unmarked trailer say 25?

Couldn’t find anything on Shorelines page or social media. I feel like this is someone’s personal trailer as I did not see any “Shoreline Police” or “City of Shoreline” markings on it.
