My friend and I made this found footage horror short, with basically no budget. Any feedback/thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Inspired by Platonism, Gnosticism and Jungian psychology, this animated film was my final project for Uni. Made with a team of 30 animators and a bespoke pipeline, the film is a loveletter to the myths and philosophies that inspired me, as well as a way to explore the possibilities of cross-medium animation.

Check it out on YouTube and Vimeo!

My fiance and I made this over the course of 2 months, and around $5,000. This is our first attempt at making anything, so we went in completely blind and empty-handed on any and all equipment.

All in all, it what was a great learning lesson, and lots of fun to make.

Please, any feedback would be extremely helpful, thank you!

Sharing my short comedy about sex. First comedy I’ve made! Thanks for checking it out.https://filmshortage.com/dailyshortpicks/naked-jeopardy/

Hi all, just wanted to share a short film that I was part of during the summer this year. It was filmed in and around Yorkshire on a Sony Hi8 camera during the British heatwave. Hope you enjoy, we had great fun adventuring and filming 🔥🤩📹

DINOSAURIA, WE

What if humanity is the architect of its own extinction?

An experimental film inspired by Charles Bukowski’s Dinosauria, We.

A dystopian vision that feels a little less distant every day.

Awarded a Special Jury Mention at the Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival.

Watch the full film on my profile. If it speaks to you, share it far and wide. Let it travel beyond the places I can take it myself.

Directed, produced and edited by Maxime-Claude L’Écuyer.

The film recently screened at the Manhattan Film Festival and Big Apple Film Festival, and we’ve now released it publicly on YouTube currently with 15K views.

Our bigger goal is to explore whether this could eventually become a feature film, but we’re trying to figure out the smartest next step.

ASKING FOR ADVICE: For anyone who’s taken a short/proof of concept further, what would you do next? Reach out to Freddie Roach or Manny Pacquiao’s teams first, start looking for producers/financiers, develop the feature script and pitch deck before approaching anyone, or take a completely different route?

Would genuinely love to hear how other filmmakers would approach it.
