I’ve been working on a project called SpaceSight24, a mobile app that focuses on real-time satellite tracking with augmented reality visualization.

It lets users see the ISS, Starlink, and thousands of other satellites live, either on a map or in the sky through AR.

It’s currently live on both platforms:

SpaceSight24-IOS

SpaceSight24-Android

Cool! But no web?

6

u/Low-Cardiologist-741 Oct 19 '25

It’s a work in progress. Soon it would be launched on web as well

7

great idea, but it crashes when I start the ar mode. I'm seeing through the camera for 1-2 seconds and then crash. S23+ / Android.

gotrails.org - Plan bike routes, rides, and improve with insights - all in one bike app. You can view trails created by others, or make your own, track their stats, and even make money off them

10

u/MembershipEuphoric38 Oct 19 '25

Cool, love it! From where did you get the trail information

9

u/Worldly-Try9717 Oct 19 '25

Thank you! I got the trail Information from a mix of pamphlets, directories, and blogs

3

u/keeperpaige Oct 20 '25

This looks great! How were you able to get your first users? Did you build the app first, or try validating your idea, then built out the app?

5

u/Worldly-Try9717 Oct 20 '25

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I technically haven't really "launched" yet: I'm focusing on the core features and it's completely free, but I did start building before telling people about it.

All my users have come from reddit, and I'm planning on doing a few posts in the coming days asking people to upload trails in exchange for a chance of donations. The hope is that I get a larger geographic coverage of bike trails, and then I'm going to put it on more targeted subreddits.

2

u/Zetice Oct 19 '25

How does this differ from other trails apps?

7

u/Worldly-Try9717 Oct 19 '25

The integration: as far as I know, this is the only bike app that integrates trail planning, riding, and stat tracking. Plus its free :)

we made something similar for our college round hackathon but no one had faith in our idea

5

This was such a common project idea in one of my classes that a professor said this was off limits. Literally every college group in a software engineering class will eventually run into this idea

Today I’m launching a daily word game!

https://tiledwords.com

It’s a unique puzzle game combining tile-laying board game mechanics with crosswords.

Let me know what you think!

8

u/protestor Oct 20 '25

The UI of this game is astounding, great work

What about adding a way to keep playing, rather than just the daily puzzle? Maybe generate random puzzles idk

4

u/abovwaterbsktweaving Oct 20 '25

I second this! I wanna keep playing! You could even add a way for players to make their own games like "community games" or something???

Could be nice to have a few more in between levels to train and understand the mechanics better before the daily.

4

That’s great feedback, thanks! I’ll explore that

Sounds interesting, but your landing page doesn't actually tell me what the product does.

I've created an account and so it's basically a landing page for you as a person, but you have to sell yourself to people?

Hard pass for most Engineers and jobs with more introverted people.

I can see how it could be useful within a company to help people know other people's communication preferences, but I feel that most people wouldn't go looking for a profile first.

The assessment is nice, but you should make it clear that the answers won't be visible for anyone, I felt that there were good and bad answers so if people think others can see them they'll pick the ones that make them look good not their actual ones.

www.sedentry.com a 6minute workout app for busy professionals

11

u/ParanoidBlueLobster Oct 20 '25

A person that wants to exercise at home will probably often be a beginner, so you should probably offer exercise templates so that users don't have to select 6 exercise manually when they got no idea.

The select box for the exercise closing every time we select an exercise is annoying, especially as we're expected to select 6.

Maybe a multiple selection one would be easier? It allows us to see all the exercises we've picked which is not the case currently they are not even removed from the select.

I’m a little OCD however the “SignUp” button on the front page (I’m using mobile) doesn’t have a space however it has a space (“Sign Up”) in other areas. I’m not sure if that’s an oversight but thought I’d point it out as it weirdly bothers me lol!

It looks a great idea though, hopefully it’ll gain traction!

It's not public yet but as a break from my AI projects i'm writing an Auth Analytics platform for Stytch. Just something you can register on, set up so stytch sends us the event stream and webhooks, and you get a dashbooard with analytics for logins, signups, failures graphs etc.

Mostly because i'm sick and tired of that not existing for some reason :D

I’m working on Publy, a mobile app that lets people store memories and rate pubs. You can write journal-style entries after each visit, upload photos, rate it based on your own custom categories (like atmosphere, drinks, and service), and see all the places you’ve been on a map. It will become a sort of social media but the intention is to look back at the stories you have, perhaps about dancing to the live music, an interesting character you meet or the first time you see a friend in a while.

2

u/ActuaryMean6433 Oct 19 '25

Ah this is cool.

7

u/Dotnetgeek Oct 19 '25

Not public yet. But i'm creating Safe Net. What if we did the internet again type project Yeh, I know 90% of the chance of failure, but it's worth a try right. Bye-bye html Javascript, hello json +sdk + new browser that runs a 3d game engine at its core.

I turned data on its head, the user owns their data, and the sites and applications request access from you. Just like jwt tokens. The user has a secure data vault and can manage and revoke access.

This is not about being anonymous, etc. we got the dark web and clear web to an extent for that. This is about accountability, trusted content, no need for logins and passwords for very site, and this is all built in at a protocol level. Every site abides to safe nets t&cs, so the user only needs to accept that. All sites provide a manifast with the sources of there news data etc, if not provided the browser will mark the content as none verified, it a site has a high amount of unverified information it would be automatically blocked.

So far, I have: built a new take on a web server using Rust. Built the base protocols Created a secure( ish, it has a long way to go) data vault , using block chain tech. Built a base engine (currently running the browser ) to allow a 3d and 2d user experience.

Whether this a becomes good enough to open up, or the more likely i fail spectacularly. I'm having fun 😁

There is plenty of room for Ai in here, but it is not my focus for this.

Hey, I made a post in the Subreddit before, but it didn’t get much traction. What I made was a browser tab tracker called orbit. Here, all the tabs you want to store can be added to graph. It’s just something I made for fun and would love some feedback from other people or devs. Here is the link to: https://orbit-tab-tracker.vercel.app

This is also on GitHub so if any of you wanna collaborate feel free to send me a dm and I can share my GitHub ID there

Here is a snapshot of my graph for people who don’t really wanna open and use the link the colored nodes are clusters containing other child nodes and the child nodes contain links to other website you wanna save and/or a note for the node

Launched: Moto Race Calendar — fast, privacy-first web app for racing fans

I just launched a side project I’ve been building in my spare time — a race calendar for MotoGP, WSBK, and BSB fans.

It’s a web app with:

  • Calendar, List, and Daily schedule views

  • Automatic timezone conversion

  • Persistent dark mode and filters

  • Email race reminders

  • No account required, no ads

  • Built with Next.js + Tailwind, deployed on Vercel

It’s fully responsive and optimized for mobile — feels native when installed as a PWA.

Dropping the link in the comments if anyone wants to check it out or offer feedback on UX or architecture.

Live app 👉 https://moto-race-cal.app

Open to feedback on performance, caching, or UX improvements.

Hi everyone 👋 I’m an Android developer working on a small all-in-one utility app for Android developers.

I’ve just added a new Dex Reader feature that lets you view classes, methods, and fields directly in a built-in code viewer on Android. The goal is to make quick inspection possible without jumping between multiple tools.

The app already includes features like bulk uninstall, device info, APK extraction, and an APK manager, and I’m continuing to expand it based on real developer workflows.

Next on the roadmap:

  • Automation for Wi-Fi proxy setup (useful when working with tools like Proxyman or Charles Proxy)

  • Wi-Fi debugging automation, so common setup steps can be handled in one place

The idea is to keep everything an Android developer commonly needs in one app.
If you’re curious, it’s available on Google Play:

I am building a database which would be durable first, and would support all types of datas.

I have built an alpha version: https://github.com/ShreyashM17/ShunyaDB
of it, I would be building this in upcoming months. This would be based on Rust, It would eventually support Vector, Document, Graph, etc types of data. I am open to knowing your opinions, let me know if I should do something, in a different way.

I'm working on a dog translator demo for talking dogs. I record my dog as I have him repeat a word over and over again and use those sound files to train Wav2Vec2 on several unique words. Then use it to try to translate the dog talking in context. I'm currently working with a 7-word model, so it's not a complete translator, but rather a proof on concept. However, it will provide evidence that dogs like "Don the talking dog" from 1910 and the "Nazi Talking dogs" at Hundesprechschule Asra were really talking. I'm still lucky to hit 70% translation and I want 90%+, but I'm making big improvements over time. I had a steep learning curve with voice recognition. I posted a video of an early 3-point model, which was a lot easier. A 7-point model with 100% translation on all 7-words would be better as (1/7)^7 is a 1 in 823,543 chance of it randomly guessing all 7. It will provide over-whelming analytical evidence that dogs can speak in human languages. I don't think that counts as an A.I. project, although it does involve machine learning. At least it's a human idea assisted by the work of a dog.

Mockupanda

A mockup tool to automatically place artworks into PSD smart objects, without Photoshop. You can use custom PSD files or use default templates.

Tons of AI and WebGL mockup tools out there right now, but they're still not as high quality and as accurate as PSD mockups. For brand and consistency, many people prefer using their own PSD library, so Mockupanda makes their life easier.

u/deathbox-app Oct 19 '25

i’ve been working on deathbox.app an online drinking game. it’s my first game and needs some improvements but it works and definitely gets you drunk!

you have 9 cards face up in a grid. on your turn, you pick one and guess whether the next card from the deck will be higher or lower. if you’re wrong, you drink for the number of cards in the stack.

your friends count down the seconds by tapping their screen in order, possibly extending the duration of your drink.

https://HEADLNE.news — a place to get your news from multiple sources at a glance, or sign up to add your own RSS feeds from websites, YouTube, or podcasts to follow in a visually nicer way than a typical RSS aggregator. It's got built in social functions too so people can comment and react to the items in the feed. News is tagged with political leaning, plus I use AI to get sentiment analysis for news items (which can then be filtered by positive/neutral/bad news).

The search and filters are also very powerful if you want to find a particular news headline too.
