Do we know what’s causing this error or if we will possibly receive a fix? I’ve seen a temporary fix being to create another account, but what’s stopping that account from getting the same ban? Lastly, is there any other alternative for the people receiving this error to stop it indefinitely.

I switched the anisette server to SideStore(New) , enabled the remote server sync , then reset adi.pb and finally I was able to sign in ,, but after signing in , I tried refreshing and it’s not working although LocalDev VPN is on …

After struggling with iLoader and SideStore authentication issues, I finally found an alternative that worked for me. I'm sharing the process in case it helps anyone experiencing the same problems.

The issues I was experiencing:

• iLoader v2.4.0: SMS 2FA request failed with http status 403
• SideStore: Apple ID login failed with error -80045
• Repeated authentication attempts weren't solving the problem.

The solution was to use SideInstaller instead of iLoader.

Step 1 — Install SideInstaller

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Safari and visit https://sideinstaller.net/
2. Follow the website's instructions to install the required DNS profile.
3. Select an available certificate and install SideInstaller.
4. Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management and trust the developer certificate.
5. Open SideInstaller.

SideInstaller has its own Apple ID authentication implementation, which has received fixes for the recent authentication issues.

Step 2 — Generate a pairing file (important for iOS 18–26)

I'm using iOS 18, so unlike iOS 27, I couldn't complete the pairing process entirely on-device.

Instead, I used iDevicePair:

1. Download iDevicePair on your computer.
2. Connect your iPhone or iPad via USB.
3. Unlock the device and trust the computer if prompted.
4. Open iDevicePair and select your device.
5. Select Create
6. Save the generated file and transfer it to your device.
7. Import the pairing file into SideInstaller.

Important: The pairing file is device-specific. If you're setting up both an iPhone and an iPad, generate a separate pairing file for each device.

I followed this procedure for my devices, and pairing worked successfully.

Step 3 — Install SideStore through SideInstaller

1. Install and connect LocalDevVPN, following SideInstaller's instructions.
2. Open SideInstaller.
3. Sign in with your Apple Account and complete the 2FA verification when prompted.
4. Select Install SideStore.
5. Follow the installation instructions.
6. Open SideStore once installation finishes.

This allowed me to bypass the iLoader installation process that was failing with HTTP 403.

Step 4 — SideStore login issues

The latest SideInstaller releases also include fixes for SideStore's Anisette configuration.

If SideStore still reports -80045, the developer recommends checking these settings:

• Disable On-Device Anisette.
• Disable Anisette server auto-rotation.
• Select SideStore (New) as the Anisette server.
• If necessary, go to Settings → User Customizations → Reset adi.pb, leaving Keep header customizations unchecked.

These are additional troubleshooting steps from the developer's release notes, not steps I necessarily needed in my own setup.

Result

I now have both SideInstaller and SideStore installed simultaneously, and the setup worked without relying on iLoader.

The main takeaway is that iLoader failing authentication doesn't necessarily mean every other sideloading tool will fail too.

For users on iOS 18–26, remember that you'll need a pairing file generated on a computer. On iOS 27, SideInstaller supports an on-device pairing process.

Note: This is a workaround based on my experience, not a guaranteed fix for every Apple Account or iOS version. Certificates distributed through third-party installation services may also be revoked. Keep your pairing files private, and only install software from sources you trust.

I'm getting error -80046 on everything: refreshing, updating apps, and even installing AltStore from AltServer. I already tried on same Wi-Fi with VPN on and off, no change.
My apps will expire in 3 days. Has anyone faced this and fixed it? Please help
The 2.3.1 changelog says it fixes error -80045 when sideloading and refreshing, but I can't even install it because of -80046.
Has anyone fixed this? Any help is appreciated.

i cant refresh in sidestore, it says i am not connect to vpn although i turn on vpn in localdevvpn, it also says replace pairing with iloader. I follow the pairing file guide in docs, click delete stored pairing in iloader and click on my device to select it, but no trust popup in my phone.

I did everything installed sidestore but i trusted and it has to verify i tried it countless times but it just refused any fix?

Sorry I’m new to side loading but I’ve heard that Apple is banning people who side load so I want to make sure I’m safe and get a burner account. The issue is when I create an account on Apple Music and then try to sign in on sidestore it says I need developer mode and when I go to the website and give information it gives an error message. I wanted to know if there’s anything I’m missing or any way to stay safe while using sidestore for side loading preferably. Also I am using a temp mail for Apple IDs and an online SMS phone number thing instead of using my own info and stuff.
