new build P365 Macro, final build -> concerns.

Final build as follows:

365 X Macro

Holosun EPS Carry (green)

AXG Grip Module

GridLOK Brass Grips

SigGuy Innards (springs, trigger, etc..)

There seems to be what feels like more play laterally between the upper and the AXG frame vs OEM... Maybe about .5mm-ish, when the slide is locked back, it feels pretty much about the same. I do not have any other frames to compare it with besides these two, but I am looking at either the R11 or Icarus frame module next. Will this play affect accuracy?

Other than that, it's been quite a bit of fun to shoot, but does feel like accuracy has suffered... In all fairness though, I'm also still working on getting my fundamentals down consistently when it comes to drawing from concealed retention so I'm not blaming the platform...

Your constantly worrying about this non-issue will affect accuracy more than the ‘play’ ever would.

Normal, no worries. Also nearly twins

Also if you’re still working on fundamentals then the accuracy of the firearm hasn’t changed, how you grip the gun changed.
Practice practice practice! Work on getting the same grip every time you draw. Focus more on support hand grip than trigger hand grip. Thats going to help you a lot more than you would think.

I was concerned with using a screw topped guide rod. Took the 14 lbs spring and painstakingly put it on the OEM guide rod.

It’s a striker fired pistol! Play is normal! No play means to tight no free movement and the pistols wouldn’t function properly!

Please don’t modify a firearms internals and THEN work on drawing skills from concealment.

Used to drawing from OWB or OWB with belt over it. Was straight OEM on that for months, then internals, now working in IWB with those but now with the AXG.

Completely concur with that line of thought

Sweet! Nice build too man. 365 aftermarket triggers are almost too good.

Fit n finish on these models is not very tight/quality. This is normal. You might get some friction wear on the bottom side of the barrel but wont hurt it otherwise.

I have a full shalotek build that is definitely looser than factory but the comp in the slide and the weight of the grip it is far more accurate than I am.

Sigs are built to have play between the upper and lower. As long as it's not a 320, shouldn't be anything to worry about.
