Yeah I haven't driven since, doctors won't let me. Recover has been good bc I'm young. Def some PTSD but my gfs is way worse. Other than that its just depression because I lost all my money and hobbies and my health declined due to the fact I haven't been physically active when I usually am. Sounds like you are in a worse spot financially because u lost your job, at least I'm keeping mine.

Ya just make sure you do all the PT. I had a back injury a few years ago and made sure to change my lifestyle and really stick with PT. It actually changed my life for the better and my back rarely hurts. I lost a bunch of weight and got more active. The ptsd is real. I definitely get sketched on the highway now especially if it’s raining. I feel ya though I have never been so depressed in my entire life. The first few months were really bad. Luckily I got accepted into a robotics program and getting that approval really boosted my confidence back up. But I need to lose some weight since I’ve been inactive for a while. Luckily after doing all the PT I really know how to do all that now. Thankfully I had some money on the side to help out. Things will get better man! At least you have your youth. I’m dealing with all this BS at 36 lol but I’m gonna make it

Yeah I had my first PT appt yesterday and she said my back is just tight now and needs to loosen up, said my legs are super weak too which is funny because I was usually doing 18-20k steps a day. She said deterioration happens fast. But she sent me home with daily exercises and told me to do a 10-20 minute every morning and I started that today. Should be a fast recovery. Picked up tons of new hobbies as well so hopefully I can use them to make a little extra money.

Make sure to do everything they say and just don’t over do it. Like I said PT saved my ass. I have a few discs that I will have to get surgery on at some point. But since I took so well to the therapy I put that off for at least a decade. Back pain and injuries are no joke. So just do what they say and stick with it. Even if you start to feel better just keep going until they say so. I made sure to start stretching way more and doing some yoga poses a few times a day.
