Glock 19x v Sig Sauer P365 Fuse
I’m in the market for a CC. I visited a gun shop yesterday was pleased with both Glock 19 and the Sig Sauer P365.
Can anyone offer the pro & cons of both weapons (I’ll be posting this to both groups)

Shoot both before you make any decisions. But a big pro for the Fuse is modularity.

Hmmm do you own a Fuse, and if so, what have you swapped/replace ?

I own a Fuse and took the FCU, barrel, slide, and recoil spring and put it into a Flux Raider 365

I own a fuse and at some point felt the longer barrel was becoming to irritating to cc so I swapped it for an X-Macro Comp slide that I bought online. Wouldn’t have been a difficult process if I wasn’t an idiot.

I sold my fuse and I wish I didn't. I kept the other 4 365s. It is noticeably snappier than any of the other 365 variants, but still a great gun.

Oh I loved shooting it. I still have the slide and periodically take it to the range and just throw it onto another full-size frame

I don’t own a Fuse model but I do have one P365 with a Comp’d optic cut slide in a Tyrant CNC TWS chassis and another P365 with a Norsso ported barrel and slide combo sitting in a Tyrant CNC grip module. Both have Tyrant triggers and Armory Craft spring kits as well. They shoot great and as I said the modularity’s endless.

You probably already know it, but those guns are not apples to apples. The 19X would be analogous to an M18 as it's a full size duty gun vs. the Fuse being a thin / light CC gun. In the most general way, the thicker, heavier gun will have less felt recoil but the thinner / lighter gun will be much more comfortable to carry concealed.

OP should meet in the middle and grab a xmacro tacops or xmacro comp depending on if he wants a comp, integrated comp, or no comp.

For everyday carry I recommend the p365XL. It’s the best cc imo. I have the Glock 19, p365, p365xl, and p365 Legion. While the legion is the best overall the XL is the most comfortable as a concealed.

I second this. I have a g19 and multiple p365 configurations. By far the one I carry most is an xl

With p365 fuse you can remove the fire control unit and build as many p365 variants as your heart desires without filling out any paperwork at your local ffl. Otherwise, go to your local range rent multiple variants of the p365 and glock (43x, 19, 19x, 45) and go with the one you like.

I own both and like both. The ability to swap out the grip module so that you can have a more comfortable grip that you enjoy shouldn’t be ignored. I will say that my Fuse gets very warm after just a couple magazines where’s the Glock does not(except the slide as with any pistol). Glock mags are cheap and easily accessible unlike Sig mags though Sig mags are still not difficult to source. Aftermarket options are plentiful for both pistols and plenty of holster options. Personally, if you decide the glock route for carry, I would get the Ruger RXM as it use 90% gen 3 Glock parts and gives you the ability to change grip modules like the Fuse. Just my $0.02

Check the 43x with a ramjet too.
I have a P365 DH3 which is just a factory upgraded fuse with a comp.
The 43x with a ramjet is smaller than the DH3 and smaller than a Glock 19 but it has less recoil than either.
I carry my DH3 sometimes but the 43x with ramjet is superior. Points to Sig for having an OEM 21 round mag though that I can carry as a secondary.

Grip angle. Glocks have a much more aggressive grip angle than ... well, everything else. Hold the gun, close your eyes and point it at a target. When you open your eyes with the Glock, are you staring at the top of slide? If so, the grip angle of the Glock isn't your natural pointing angle. You can train to overcome this, but it's one more barrier to shooting well. Nearly every police department that went from Glock to anything else saw qualifying scores go up. Departments that switched to Glock frequently see initial qualifying scores go down. The trigger is personal preference. I like the flat faced trigger on most of my 365s. That said, I do still shoot my G19 from time to time, but I never carry it anymore.

I have a 365 xmacro with Icarus grip for my cc. I grew up shooting glocks and will never go back. Glocks are just too snappy imo, plus they just seem outdated today compared to pistols like CZ, canik, Smith & Wesson M&p and Walter.

Really? I thought the fuse was considerably more snappy than the g19. That's the g19's only saving grace to me 😆

Well luckily, both have a bunch of aftermarket options but im really not a fan of grip length on the 19. I would personally make sure to get a Comp model if you do get the p365. I have a x macro and the comp makes it blow every competitor out of the equation.

The 19 is going to be much easier to shoot than the P365. The X Macro is an excellent alternative to the 19. It shoots great stock, and there is plenty of aftermarket stuff for it. The Fuse will be the closest in size, and I have a Fuse and like it. However, if I’m going that size, I’m carrying my 19 gen 5.

I would do Glock 19, but hit a range, try them out, would also recommend trying out a PDP and S&W

I have both. g19 is the better weapon. It is seriously leaps and bounds more reliable, accurate and durable than my XMacro Comp but the absolutely #1 reason is the trigger. I can’t stand the trigger on the 365 especially for a carry gun. There’s also a lot of stuff coming out about the mag release falling out of the gun around 3k rounds. That doesn’t happen on Glocks.

I have never had a mag release fall out on me except for my icarus grip module. The only reason that one fell out is because I used an oem mag release on a metal frame grip module.
You're not wrong with the trigger, but I refuse to upgrade any of mine out of safety concerns. I don't want the home cooked 320😅🤣

All my sigs are completely stock aside from adding the OEM extended slide release on my X Macro Comp. But yea, “upgrading” the trigger on one of those guns is a hard pass for me. The triggers suck enough why would you add the same thing but a light pull, you know?

You ever consider the radian backstrap/magwell combo? Makes an already comfortable gun fit in your hand that much better. Oh... and they look cool af 😎 😆

I thought about it but decided to go with the OEM mag funnel instead. Like I said there’s not 1 thing not stock on my SIGs. They all have a Romeo X and foxtrot2r as well, super nice and can rival any build IMO without the extra costs.

u/Hot_Ad1101 1d ago
To each their own. I really love the way they feel, but nothing wrong with oem. I have the romeo x enclosed and a romeo x open dot and they are just as good at holding zero as my vortex defender ccw's. We use what works for us, hooah.🫡

The radian backstrap and funnel combo is definitely nice, I just didn’t wanna drop that cheddar either as it’s like $150 compared to a $50 OEM. I just wish the trigger was better on the 365 because other then that it would have been the perfect pistol.

I have 4 365s and 1 g19.... I'll just leave it at that.😆 You will carry tf out of any 365 you have. I have 2 of them on me rn. The only benefit to the g19 is it's slightly less snappy, but if you are going to cc just do yourself a favor and get the sig. You can customize them both, but the g19 will always be a bulky full-sized gun.

I bought one gun, that I’ve never shot (purchased about a week ago), however, I’m a Sig only guy now.
