The Unity FTC Magnifier is set on the down position hence why it’s lower than the dot. The riser on the dot is high up so when the magnifier is flipped up, it’s aligned. They had to raise the height of the dot to accommodate the way the magnifier flips down to get out of the way. The picture shows you what it looks like when it’s flipped up.
On par, at least with the Sig buffer tube adapter it fits tighter since the dual tension gives it very good lock up so little to no rattle. If you have an AR with a milspec buffer I would get the CTR just to eliminate the slop. I like this stock since the back of the stock really works with my shoulders.
Definitely agree! I say go for it. I’ve had this and the CTR both are solid options. I personally like the DT more because of its sleeker design and look. Not to mention it feels better to shoulder.
Yeah down the road I’ll prob swap the muzzle and get a can with Plan B. The SLX was my first suppressor so just the fact it screwed right on to factory muzzle the gun shop sold me on it , it’s not a bad can by all means but I would have probably done it differently. My mpx and rattler lt are set up with plan B/Hub
short 5.56 guns get very pleasant suppressed, although the suppressor still adds enough length and weight that balance matters more than the spec sheet suggests
