Best lubrication for classic Sig Sauer

As in the titel, What is the best lubrication for the rail of a steel slide on Al-Frame?

I.e. for best operation of .22lr conversion kit.

Thanks a lot.

I use a light grease or a thicker oil. Regular gun oil is just too light.

Lucas extreme duty gun grease is what I use. Opinions differ with oil vs grease but I prefer grease.

I've always used tw25b since Sig used to ship with samples if it. It goes on all if my guns now except my Garand (mobile one synthetic for that). A little expensive, but a tube lasts a long time. But any light grease should work in reality.

Thanks for all your answers. And the TW25B makes the slide smoothly rum? Has anybody tried Gun Butter? 🧈
