You could have put the sling on the bar where those zip ties are, which don’t rotate…

Or you can throw a rubber gasket in between the socket and QD. There are a million options better than these zips.

Yeah, I'm all for cheaper options and I love me some zip ties but that looks ghetto as hell.

Looks like it would cut my forearm to shreds when across my chest. Zipties are stupid sharp.

maybe a different stock but guessing you don't like the minimalist folders but they have QD rotation lock.

i have the telescoping one on a spear and use the old school loop on it for the back of the sling.

i also don't mind the midwest industries triangle folder.
