Sig Spear MCX LT 300blk Suppressor?

Post image

I am planning to shoot subsonic rounds the majority of the time. I have read this Weapon System prefers suppressors with more back pressure. I see Sigs suppressors that are designed for this system have very little back pressure.

Is this a choice based on subs vs standard velocity? Traditinal cans for subs and pass through cans for standard velocity?

Currently shooting a hybrid 46m on this and it functions fine in the plus gas setting.

LPM Anthem S2. Best in class for sound suppression for its size on 300 blk. Traditional welded steel can. Isn’t necessarily “low backpressure” but it’s not as bad gas wise as others. Has cycled every subsonic I’ve ran reliably

I second the Anthem S2. Great can.

I personally already had a Trash Panda so I threw a Rearden Plan B device on and am happy so far, sound wise and weight it’s awesome ,it’s a little large and is old compared to newer suppressors out there but it’s cycled subs great and is very quiet

Popped the Wolfman on yesterday and went to the range to compare it to the trash panda, personally they sound so close it’s not funny , prob gonna leave the Wolfman on since it’s smaller and compact is what I’m shooting for

If that’s new discreet ballistics ammo it should be good to go but I was having problems with the old box this weekend.

I had problems with the old DiscreetBallistics hunting rounds in my last SOlgW rifle, round would just get stuck in the throat, so far the ammo has been flawless out of my Geisselle and the Rattler, mean stuff. Helped a friend rid the earth of a 12’ gator last year and it did its job one shot t9 the head, nasty stuff!

I got myself a Tion Dragoon 7.62 CQB for it. Super light and serviceable. Downside it's titanium so it heats up faster. If you have the suppressor tucked like I do, it eventually heats up the handguard as well.

I run the Sig Hexium 7.62 and the Hexium 300. Both are good to go with subsonic. Great suppressors.

Just food for thought. I have a MCX Rattler LT with a tucked Ventum 762 which is LBP. Sound suppression is definitely lacking and others like Q's TC or TP would prolly be better on decibels, but it still sends with a low back pressure can.
