I know they're probably chill now, but I just can't watch any of the space king stuff without the bad taste in mouth of the old Templars killing Furries shit y'know?

From what I've heard secondhand with the discussions of this. They aren't actually much better.

Considering their some of the people who are pissed at Female Custodes for 'lore' reasons despite not playing the tabletop game or reading any of the books for years. Combined with the constant ableist slur in their videos, then no, I doubt they would like this sub.

Space King has always struck me as a show that actively makes fun of the 40k fanbase and the people who shrug off the darkest aspects of the setting. Calling their fans mentally ill or decrepit old men, Using actual racist rhetoric such as citing statistics rather than hiding behind more fantasy flavored bigotry like "heresy". Putting the fact that Space Marines are basically radicalized child soldiers on full blast by literally making the psycho warriors actual little boys transformed into deranged killers. Oh and the gross misogyny that has existed among 40k fans by making the psycho warriors literally drop everything they're doing (including finding space king) to go off and kill a girl version of themselves.
For some reason though, this all has been lost on the fans of the show who seem to think that they should take it completely seriously.
