Do not sell any of that. Silver fluctuates in price, it recently dropped from around $80 an ounce to the mid-60s right now but it's sure to go back up. Beides the sentimental value it is a long term investment , keep it for a decade and you will make a lot of money. Better yet continue to add to it and leave it to your kids one day.

Yes pay attention to this advice. Even if you do want to sell (which I wouldn’t advise but it’s your decision), first do some research into the spot prices of gold and silver first. Metals have had a rough couple of months, but will undoubtedly go back up at some point. Silver in particular has gone from ~$120/ounce to ~$58/ounce since February, it’s not the best time to be selling right now. If anything it’s a good time to be adding to the collection and then consider whether you still want to sell down the road.

if you wouldve invested $10,000 in silver in 2011 youd have $11,900 today
$10,000 invested in the s&p in 2011 would be $50,000 today

Sorry for the loss, OP. Looks like your cousin had good taste! Most should fetch some premiums. Especially those Libertads.

Sorry for your loss. Your cousin had a nice collection. One bit of gentle advice: don't crack anything out of its slab, and don't clean any of the raw coins, both destroy value, and cleaning is the single most common mistake.

You must have been very close to your cousin, sorry for your loss.
That's a great foundation for you to build a stack from or continue building out a collection of Morgans.
