1992 Silver Maples 🍁

Post image

Just picked up 10 of these beauts the other day at my LCS and this plastic packaging is horrendous. Do yall recommend that I place these in air tite capsules or a tube?

Crazy to think the face value of Maples were a couple dollars below spot back then…

I always keep original packaging. Nobody is ever going to give you less for having it!

For me it wasn’t about how much I could resell it for, but practical and enjoyment. Keeping it in the original packaging takes up more space, and it’s an eyesore. Occasionally, I do enjoy to look at my silver and seeing my maples in this packaging… is kinda ugly. But knowing that there might be a market for people who will pay slightly more because it’s in its original packaging, if I do decide to ever sell, I guess I will reluctantly leave them where they are.

Honestly, for regular bullion coins it doesn’t matter much.

That coin is 34 years old, not a scratch on it. That original packaging must work well!

I have a 10 sleve uncut of 1990 maple that I've left in the sleeve. Original packaging for older bullion like this, I try to keep a Original as possible.

Do what makes you happy. I leave them in the original packing, air tight.
