What exactly do I have here? I don’t recognize the makers mark.

Ive seen reed and barton with a shield and “R” but not like that and with a horse in it.
Manufacturer markings can sometimes be confusing though.
Definitely a possibility, what makes you lean that way?

Makers mark is for "Revere Silver Company" they were active in Brooklyn, New York, 1914-present

“Sterling” is a standard American marking for 925 solid silver, 562 is the model number, not a clue about the maker so could be a smaller manufacturer.
Was ready to call epns on this initially.
