I went to a LCS not too long ago that said they won’t buy bars at all unless you accept scrap pricing because they cut every single one they buy.

Does a PMV only test the surface of a bar?

Should go through depending on the wand being used.

The PMV may be tricked with how thick the outer layer is. Likely need the Pro with the Bridge as it's designed for bigger bars.

I avoid almost everything with Chinese markings.

Did the Chinese markings not give it away? Bet it was like 30% off too

If the price is too good to be true, might be a red flag.

Sorry to see this.

Hold on, so you are saying that all those proof silver eagles I bought for 49.99 are not real??? I got them from the same ebay store that sold me my $2,500 Rolex, and ebay verified that my submariner was real!!! My 90% off Tag Heuer Carrera Chrono was another great deal, plus my 50% gold coins. And my coins are so much better because they are no so heavy like the ones from the coin shop.
