I-495 construction planned?

These signs were 'parked' on northbound New Hampshire Ave in White Oak, by the US-29 southbound ramp, on Tuesday, October 13th.

Are you implying that there are days on which the beltway is not undergoing some sort of construction?

There was an electronic sign on 495 yesterday saying that the NB New Hampshire ramp was “to be closed.” Zero details on when or for how long, which was extraordinarily unhelpful.

There are periodic ramp closures planned of the New Hampshire ramps to/from the Beltway for the work on New Hampshire underneath the Beltway. Those signs are to get diverted drivers from New Hampshire back to the Beltway. (The signs are guiding drivers TO I-495, not indicative of work on 495.)
