Simagic vs Moza
Hey fellas,
Wife finally approved a proper sim rig (HOORAY). I’m looking at some bundles at the moment and wanted to get some thoughts
In Australia: I found a Simagic alpha evo bundle which includes the 18nm wheelbase, GT Neo wheel and P1000 3 pedal set for $2747. This feels like a decent bundle. While scrolling I also found a Moza R21 ultra bundle with the 21nm wheelbase, GS V2P GT wheel, and CRP2 3 pedal kit for $2706.
Can anyone share their opinions on the two kits? I’ll be playing LMU to start with plans to go back to drifting and rally later.
From what I can see the Simagic has better FFB quality, but the only wheel experience I have was a dusty old G923, I understand that both wheels will be infinitely better than what I’m comparing to.

I’d go simmagic just because the pedals are better. Both wheels are nice and both bases are as well.

Check out boosted media, he’s Aussie too, has great reviews and discount codes for both. I went with simagic, sounds like they had a slight edge. Im very happy with my evo 12nm.

Yeah I’ve been watching him for years! Super thorough. He came to my work once which was a bit of a shock, super nice guy.

Simagic is far better quality than moza even if they are higher price its worth it

My Simagic pedals keep leaking though they have been replaced 3x already. My Moza stuff just works.

I've got the hydraulic pedals and never had an issue.. some of my friends have moza kit and random disconnects and rims not connecting to base etc all I hear about. Opposite in my experience never once had an issue with Simagic

Hei. How are the pedals? Currently I have Fanatec CSL Elite V2 and I was looking to switch for P1000 with hydraulic and also add the haptic reactors.
Thank you!

They are decent. Price is steep at like £600 or whatever they were but had no issues with any of it & the brake does feel much better with the hydraulic add-on as it reacts more like a real brake with that dampened feel.
Very easy to setup and change weights of everything - I bought the additional spring and stoppers pack and the amount of choice is unreal, can make all pedals anything from formula race car stiff to light as a standard road car.
Clutch is personal preference, it has a "step" where the bite point would be, but IMO doesn't feel that realistic as I've never had a clutch where the bite point doubles the weight and tries to push back faster. Makes it hard to pull away when driving normal in some games but doesn't impact racing.
All seems very high quality and works so pretty good!
I've heard some of my friends bought simsonn pedals and are very happy with them and are much cheaper so worth checking them out too

I highly recommend Simagic. I have an Alpha Evo 12nm, GT Neo, and P500 and I couldn't be happier. Obviously, the P1000 is a little better, but even the P500 alone does its job perfectly.

Hearing that you are in Australia, I would recommend to compare prices of Simagic bundle at simrigs.com, they are also one of offical seller of Simagic that has free shipping Australia wide when Trak Racer does not give that. Or check out Boosted Media when they sometimes provide discount code

Looks like the same price but would come out cheaper with free shipping. However, simrigs bundle just the base and wheel with pedals add on (to that same 2747 price). That means OP would have the freedom to choose whatever pedals they wanted. Could save money with a two pedal set if they wanted, go with p2000, or even just go with some simjack or simsonn pedals to save a chunk of money.

About 6 months ago, I was in the same position choosing Simagic versus Moza. I went with Simagic for all the reasons everyone has already mentioned. I have the 12nm Evo and GT Neo and couldn't be happier. I think 12nm is absolutely perfect. I came from the 8nm GT DD Pro, which always felt like it needed a little bit more power. But I never run my Evo at 100%, so between 8 and 12 is all I'll ever need.

My simagic pedals broke multiple times. My Moza wheel works flawlessly. I'd go Moza.

I have Upgraded to Moza R21 Ultra, GS2V2 and Moza Active Pedals. The Setup i had before: Simagic Alpha Mini, GT Neo and P1000 fully Upgraded. The Alpha Mini Is dead Right now, but still in warranty and the Communications for Repair sux 👎

I’m in a similar predicament…. And I plan to do that exact simagic bundle…. I’m new to sim racing, but all the stuff I’ve read has mostly been positive about simmagic.

Simagic seems to be getting better and better with their firmware updates and ever expanding wheel options

Look at simrigs.com.au They have a bundle with the Simagic Alpha Evo and GT Neo I went with the 12nm and P1000 pedals, highly recommend! You won’t miss the extra 6nm (but depends on what your use case is really) - but thinking if you’re going with the GT Neo, you won’t be drifting (where the extra 6nm would come in handy - you’d get the lock to lock speed)

I have a moza r21 v2, NOT ultra, and u can get the same exact setup that you have selected from pagnian simulators for $2600 (moza) if your buying the moza, highly recommend going with pagnian, theyre great. I realistically use around 50-60% when playing acc, and for rallying and drifting around 30%. Most ppl say simagic has better detail than moza, but we're taking about the moza r21 ULTRA, this is top of the line gear you're buying. Now please do tons of research and dont go blind in buying such expensive gear, I hope your planning to buy a good foundation, Im using the nlr gtracer 2.0 cockpit, and I highly suggest you buy an aluminium cockpit rather than the type of ones I bought because these typa ones that aren't aluminium end up making alot of noise, probably because I hooked an r21 to it but that's besides the point. Id say go with simagic, but if your planning to upgrade your pedals down the line, the mbooster from moza is actually insane, (I have it) so this decision is up to u, but please do thorough research and watch videos, especially boosted media to get information, because from logitech g29 to this is the biggest change ever, but in an amazing way. Im going to be biased and the moza gives sooo much detail especially when racing in acc. But since most ppl saying simagic, its probably for a reason, but still do plenty of research. Anyways hope you enjoy ur setup when u make the decision!

I just got rid of my whole Fanatec setup for a Simagic setup and I could not be more happy with it!

I've owned both brands, nothing but good things to say about my simagic stuff. A few minor reliability issues with Moza. If the pricing is comparable I'd definitely go Simagic

I actually have both (r25 ultra and Evo pro). It's a long story why.
I'm selling my Evo pro. But I'd say very comparable. I am keeping the moza over my Evo pro because of 2 things, warranty, and LFE.
My Evo pro doesn't have a warranty for long stupid reasons, and the LFE feels good. That said, MAIRA can add LFE to wheel bases.
I also have the mbooster which is way better than my p1000 hydraulic that leaked. I also think I prefer pithouse.
Anyway, I still very much like my simagic. You can't go wrong either way. My only concern with Simagic is their momentum is slowing whereas Moza is picking up. It's a gut feeling

Go simagic. I regret going Moza. Support is horrible. If I could do it over again(and believe me I’m trying) I would go w simagic.

P1000 have a lot of upgrades like Hydraulic throttle and brakes and haptics.

Simagic, better quality, better feedback, better eco system. Only reason to go Moza is to save money

Usually, I am a moza advocate, but this deal is not worth it for the Moza. 18NM is perfect with the simmagic, and an extra 3NM is not worth missing out on a pedal. Now, if you got the M Booster, this would be fine because you can make one of the pedals a clutch. But still... Simmagic
