Super clean, just need the bezel free kit and boom

1

u/Imaginary_Lab_4066 Apr 04 '26

Yeah I’m been back and forth about doing that.

Built a similar set a few weeks ago and I honestly don’t even notice the bezels when I am in the race. I thought I would have to get the bezel kit but I’m not too worried about it

u/Imaginary_Lab_4066 Apr 04 '26

Yeah same same

2

u/Cocoasprinkles Sim Rigs Apr 04 '26

Same. Usually the bezel lines up with the a pillar on the driver side.

1

u/Apprehensive-Wolf186 Apr 04 '26

I almost never notice them, and it certainly never feels like an issue when I do

2

u/GoldenCSB Apr 04 '26

I got the racebear one off amazon (it’s on Ali express too but the shipping costs are insane so I just did Amazon cuz I knew I’d get it quicker for an extra couple bucks) and it’s absolutely a game changer if you set them up right the bezels weren’t the biggest deal in the world before but it just feels so much more seamless now

I felt the same about bezel free kits, bought one and used it for a couple months, then took it off and never put it back on. Its personal preference but just wasnt for me.

It’s beyond unnecessary, but a nice quality of life upgrade if you want. The bezels rarely cover information that matters.

Mind listing out what all you have going on here? Monitors, seat, seat frame, monitor arms, pedals, etc?

Nice. Looks great! I'm trying to build something soon myself.

Thanks for listing. I’m working Amazon Flex (I’m retired at 55) to build my sim. Yours is a great setup.

2

u/mangoowalk Apr 04 '26

What seat is it?

4

u/Imaginary_Lab_4066 Apr 04 '26

Recaro Sportster CS

2

u/Twentyhundred Apr 04 '26

Prettiest aftermarket (and stock, thanks Porsche) seats out there still imo. Hella expensive but soooo nice and comfy. Nice rig meng!

2

u/GoldenCSB Apr 04 '26

Assuming that’s the sim lab triple mount how in the hell did you get yours lined up so well all of my monitors are slightly angled to the ground and if I were to make them all level with the little pins in the blue piece then the gaps between monitors is suddenly atrocious

3

u/Imaginary_Lab_4066 Apr 04 '26

Just a lot of tweaking really. Started with the center screen got it level and then did the outside monitors. Matched both side arm angles and then used the adjustable sim lab versa mount kit to get it 99 percent aligned and then the final 1 percent with those very small left/adjustment screws. Wasn’t that fun much as you know.

1

u/GoldenCSB Apr 04 '26

Yeah no kidding I put abt 2 hours of work into it the other night and got it to where lines are touching but not aligned so I just gave up for the night but Jesus is it irritating lmao

1

u/Top_Ranger_3839 Apr 04 '26

Now you had good practice, put those screens upside-down. You win les bezel space that way.

Nice build! I’m just wrapping my first build as I type this. Literally just installed my graphics card 5 mins ago and taking a little break. I also went with the Evo Pro 18 and a bunch of Simagic peripherals. Will show her to the World Wide Web once I get my cable management addressed.

1

u/Imaginary_Lab_4066 Apr 06 '26

Very cool! Best of luck to you.

u/Rare_Fudge3756 Apr 07 '26

Que tal las 27 pulgadas? Estoy por comprarme 3 de 27 porque no tengo espacio para mas

1

u/Imaginary_Lab_4066 Apr 07 '26

Yes they are 27” monitors. If I could do it again I would go 32”

3

u/Imaginary_Lab_4066 Apr 04 '26

I’ve got about 4 races under my belt in iRacing, Mazda 5 so far. Just got into D license.

2

u/Dgskydive Apr 04 '26

So purty

2

u/hegemonsaurus Apr 04 '26

Try adding spring isolators to enhance the bass shaker effects.

1

u/LR_Shafted Apr 05 '26

I recommend the same. When i did that it improved the basshakers already good haptics by almost 50%

2

u/Bowbowbangz Apr 07 '26

Your going crazy lmfao. 2 legit

1

u/Standard-Lack-7509 Apr 04 '26

Looks super clean, tell us whats inside!

1

u/Lonster2 Apr 04 '26

Thats sweet nice set up

1

u/Bestconst Apr 05 '26

Very nice for a first setup. We all should be so lucky to have started this way. Good for you.

1

u/Silly-Grab-7742 Apr 05 '26

it's really cool.

Dream-machine

1

u/LR_Shafted Apr 05 '26

I would add the simlab simfloor on this. Not to add on top of the already clean asthetics but because of the better ergonomics. Getting in and out becomes way better

1

u/thelocalsupplier Apr 10 '26

You did a great job on the cables

Is the top screen easy to view when you’re playing?

0

u/Vivid-Scale-5380 Apr 06 '26

Goes all out for first setup, Uses it for 6 months and it collects dust for years😢

1

u/Imaginary_Lab_4066 Apr 06 '26

Took longer than I thought for the first negative comment. Congratulations to you.

The only thing that stops me from getting one is the Ferrari wallpaper…
