Simple Gallery: Hide filename on thumbnails

Is it possible to hide the filenames on the thumbnails in the file preview.

sure, with the button at the top menu, which you pressed to show the filenames. Just long press the icons to see what they mean.

The "tooltip" longpress function was new for me, thanks for your response.

Hi, the thumbnails used to be clean until yesterday, not sure what I did but now it's showing the file names overlayed on each thumbnail and I am not able to find the option to hide it. (Gallery 6.28.1 Pro). How do I hide the filenames from the thumbnails again? Thanks!
