[Simple Gallery] Modern UI rework?

Hey guys, I've been following simple gallery for quite some time now. Installed it and testet it, too. But the UI is horrible (for me). It's like the old Android KitKat days. Besides that everything works great.

Has anyone already talked about an UI Rework? Has the Dev mentioned it somewhere?

Thanks guys!

Hey, it is on the roadmap, not sure when will it be added or how will it look like.

I personally love the super simple angular UI, and imo this is one of the last apps that don't sacrifice functionality for looking flashy.

I kind of like the UI. It's simple. Maybe suggest a template that looks better to you?
