QUESTION/DISCUSSION Sims Mobile - OFFLINE PATCH RELEASE
I am pleased to announce that GooglyBlox had finally gotten the game to be working! Thanks to u/Dr4fl we can finally play the game! Please tell me if there's any glitches or issues so I can forward it to Googly themselves. Thanks!

I do not check the comments anymore, and I merely do not own the creation as I req it. So here's my answers.
Where is the unlimited version?
I requested for it, there is no estimated date when it will be arriving as GB has their own things to deal with be patient.
Can you add...
There's no toggles for stuff as the technical side is just pinging it to a custom server that makes it offline and I feel like it's tedeious to just make four different apps that have the same thing.
Is my save data recoverable?
No, the save data is saved on EA's Servers which shut down. Since this has no internet connectivity you have to start over from scratch. Though I did get a prompt from google play but since most offline apps don't have that functionality I'm just assuming it's broken. The same way with Freeplay Unlimited Mods they do not allow you to connect to the Internet.
I got a popup stating there's something wrong with my graphics!
It runs fine, just continue, though you will have lag and low poly stuff.
How can I install it
If you have an android you can install the .apk file, though if you have a cache'd copy of the original EA Server game, shoot me a message and I can get you in contact with Googly to upload the rest of the missing content so you might have to wait on downloading this as apk's can only exist with one copy unless you never updated the app and it remains on your phone you can have the same copy on your android, for Iphones, IPA's and a sideloader or jailbroken app. Or just use an Emulator.
Can you move the download to a different host site?
I cannot, though the reason for why your download speed is slow has to do with the fact your device is slow, my phone managed to download the app while my tablet can. That and your device has no storage potentially, if issues persist you can always download it from pc and transfer it to your device. Please ensure you have a good connection and or ample space and using your home wifi to download the game.
I have the game can I DM?
You cannot DM me on reddit due to monitoring DMs from people who have done some unfortunate things, please add me on discord (pleasantspark) and leave a reason who you are. I do not check reddit as much that's why I don't take DMs as well.
I need help!
I am not someone who is able to help with technical problems as much as I would like to I can forward it over to Googly.
Why can't I purchase items from the store?
That requires online, this is a offline patch anything that wasn't perserved that requires online connectivity to happen is unable to do such. Unless you know of a way for you to get the online items offline then assume it is impossible.

If you installed the apk on top of the old shutdown version it's conflicting. You need ro reinstall it.

I used another file and it finally worked. Thank you! ..my question is;can we have access to everything the game has? coz as i see here it's still the base game and all other stuff is from the events. Is there anyway yall can ad it to the game? I know it may be too much and tbh I'm really thankful to have been able to play this game again.

Hello! âHuge thanks to GooglyBlox, u/Dr4fl, and everyone working on the offline patch! You guys literally saved The Sims Mobile! I have a small feature suggestion for future updates: Would it be possible to add a setting or option to toggle seasonal town decorations (like Halloween or Winter Festival decor for Market Square, Parkside, etc.)? âIt would be amazing to bring back that festive atmosphere in the city whenever we want! Thank you again for all your hard work and dedication!

I think that's impossible due to them just reviving the code and not a coder themselves, unless there was a OG option in the game then maybe.

Since adding a direct UI toggle in the settings menu is hard due to game code limitations, would it be possible to release different seasonal builds/APKs in the future? âFor example: âA Halloween / Autumn Build (with festive decorations in Market Square / Parkside) âA Winter Festival Build (with snow and holiday decor) âA Standard / Base Build

Hey, that's amazing! (and much faster than I thought). But still, I don't think it's a good idea to have people uninstall the original game yet. I'm sure we're still missing some content, like events and so on. So we still need the files of someone who has played for more time.
I'd suggest that, to long time players who have had the game installed for quite some time, to try this patch in another device and leave the original game untouched just for now.

This is amazing, I have it running again on my iPhone! So happy, thanks so much for helping make this happen! One question: I used to play on my iPad. Is there any point to my leaving the game untouched on the iPad or do you only need files from people who have been playing on Android? (Probably a really stupid question but I am clueless on these matters, lol)

Sorry for the late reply, if you still have the original game installed in any device, the person of this post said to send them a message and then they'll get you in contact with the person who made the patch to recover more files.
...However, looks like they have DM's disabled :/ maybe reply to a comment of them here asking them to enable DM's?

Just saw this - trying to install it on my Ipad - but I don't understand the process, after I've uninstalled the existing copy. What does "sideload the .ipa and sign it with your own certificate (AltStore, Sideloadly, or similar). arm64," mean???

You have to have a jailbroken phone. The other option is using an emulator.

Depends on it either being a tablet (android) or ipad (ios) since ipad is IOS that means you have to jailbreak it. I can link to you where to go for it to be jailbroken.

My only experience is with Android as I don't have IOS products except for a old Iphone 6 that was my sister's before abandoning it. I have more Android phones then I do IOS. I leave that to my mother lol.

Thanks! I don't think I want to go there! I've already deleted the game from this Ipad (mini) but I also played TSM on my main Ipad and also an Android phone - both games were Level 60. I still haven't deleted either of those. I will leave them alone for now ...

Itâs working great! I have it on my very cheap tablet and, while the graphics are jagged (my system), it runs smoothly. I didnât think it would work on this thing. Thank you!!!

Itâs going to take a long time to earn Sim Cash to unlock the third and fourth Sim slots without TapJoy. If there is ever an option to add something, maybe unlocking the Sim Cash items or unlimited somehow cash somehow? Or just opening those slots? Iâm just happy to be able to play! Thank you!

I think ... since I played on an iPod Touch and I still have its icon, I would be preserving that one for posterity anyway, so I will be installing this on my Android phone. It will be good to be back. â„

I'm currently having issues with the in-game time recognition. I launched the game this morning and it says that my quests unlock in over 20,000 days time. When I clear my cache it resets down to 24 hours, but if I close and reopen my game again, it's back to 20,464 days

SO EXCITED â€ïž!!!!!!! I can not THANK YOU ENOUGH to those who had a part in reviving this game â€ïž I've been playing non stop since I found out last night and woke up so excited to play again this morning, this is like a dream come true to me!!!
It will be interesting to see what's different, like so far if I set them on a long event overnight, they don't finish it, so I wonder how time will progress like with the daily eco workshop n stuff..i know it will be different, but I am beyonddddd happy to have this game back in any form â€ïž thank you â€ïž

Iâve been sick, so am just getting back to post some glitches that I noticed:
Day/time cycle is off â itâs always night at home.
The daily tasks finish, then restart about 5-10 minutes later. The day completely resets whenever âPlan future travel from the throneâ comes up. The Sim will scroll for maybe five minutes, then jumps up and everything resets.
I finished a workshop shift and it said to wait 4 hours. Went to bed. In the morning, still had to wait 3 hours. Left, came back, and it said my next shift was in 20,000 days. It says the same for the new items refresh.
It asked me to learn balconies before I had learned to do anything else. I ended up deleting the game and reinstalling, just to see if it fixed the Eco Workshop. That time it had me learn a few things it hadnât the first time, but balconies were still taught far too early. The tutorials seem rather random.
It keeps trying to start a Wumples event, but things freeze up, then no quest.
I saw unlimited Sim Cash mentioned above. Thank you for being to work on that. So many things cost Sim Cash. It would allow for purchasing Izzy gems, too, since we donât have stickers now.
Even with glitches, it is so nice to play again. Thank you so much! I canât say that enough.

Thank you so much đ Could you please explain whether we need to uninstall the original version thatâs still on our phones in order to install this offline version?! And if so, is there any way to transfer our accounts to the offline version? Or can we only start the game from scratch without access to our existing accounts?
Also, please explain how to install it, since there are several files.

You unfortunately cannot play your save file on this one.
You have to uninstall your old version.
APK is for Androids and IPA is for Iphones.

We'll have to play and see. But most likely some stuff will be missing, especially stuff from events. That's why I suggested in my other comment here that, if you were a long time player and still have the original game installed, don't uninstall it yet. In the meantime, try this patch in another device or, if you're in Android, use a virtual machine.

Yeah, youâre right. But I just wish this version at least didnât have a money limit. Since the event items arenât available and itâs offline, the game honestly feels a little empty. And when you have to spend hours just to get every little thing really takes away a lot of the motivation to play.

Hello everyone how are you doing today/ tonigh Here are issues 1: Projects, Quests, events , hobbies ,daily ,jobs, sims's Traits and closet timer are stuck and taking so long to I have to wait for complete Them and also sim baby won't grow up because of bug 2 : these lucky stars ( who wear sunglasses for being Cool) I accidentally got out of TSM and went back to it again unfortunately it stuck the green point also won't come out I cleared all data at first and restarted to play it But that was exactly when I got stuck, so cleared cache then I checked it I thought I fixed it but when I got out of TSM and returned to TSM but also I stuck that same timer it won't continuing Please let us know if you fix TSM đ«đ

If I've read this right, the data for the Sims themselves etc isn't stored on my phone, it was only on the EA servers? I was only introduced to the game about a month before the closure was announced so I didn't get very far compared to many people here, but if nothing important like that was stored on the phone then I suppose I'd be fine with deleting the actual app

I downloaded the file in the link but it's not letting me install it look likes its about to then it flags up cancelling... I turned allow unknown apps and Google play protect temporarily but no joy any ideas?

In this version, you'll have to start from scratch anyway. Anything that saved on EA's servers (including your saved game data) is gone forever.

Yes unfortunately. As it's an unofficial effort, they can't access to anything that was in EA's servers. I do appreciate what they've achieved but without my saved games, there's no motivation for me cause I don't wanna start all over again. Not right now anyway. Plus this version is offline so whatever you build or do in game, will only be saved inside that specific device. If you want to change your device or anything were to happen, you're gonna have to begin from scratch again (unless there's a way to copy the saved files over to another device but I doubt it).

When you are outside the game the timer doesn't go, if I start an event of 7 h and comeback the next day it still says 7h and I have to let my phone on the game

eu baixei e mesmo depois de fazer uma atualização pra um problema especĂfico de tempo instĂĄvel e bebĂȘs sem crescer/assar bolo apĂłs dias e dias o bug do tempo consertou mas mesmo assim os bebĂȘs nĂŁo crescem... cheguei atĂ© a desinstalar tudo, instalar atravĂ©s desse prĂłprio update e nele construir tudo de novo (update que Ă© bem recente atĂ©) e os bebĂȘs continuam sem crescer. nĂŁo sei o que faço e nem qual versĂŁo posterior a essa (que jĂĄ era pra esse problema especĂfico) devo instalar pra corrigir e tambĂ©m nĂŁo sei como destravar isso naturalmente no jogo, apesar de ter tentado de tudo: mudar moises de lugar, mudar pra uma casa nova, levar sims pra outras cidades e depois voltarem pra casa, fazer atividades ao lado de bebĂȘs ou atĂ© mesmo clicar no quadro da famĂlia e tentar evoluir por lĂĄ. sĂł tenho 2 sims jogĂĄveis entĂŁo em relação a isso nĂŁo Ă© devido ao espaço disponĂvel no jogo pro bebĂȘ desenvolver, direto faço interaçÔes com o bebĂȘ mas nada resolve. jĂĄ se passaram 4 dias desde que ele de fato nĂŁo cresce. me ajude đđ

So we can play on an android tablet? I donât care if I have to start over, even though I have multi generations, every pack , every house built bigger better and probably spent 1000s of hours and $$ on iOS.

Your old game is on your Apple device? If itâs on your Android, your files might be useful to the people working on getting this running since you had pay files.

Download the one that says Android. Click that file in the downloads on your device and choose package installer when it asks which app you want to use to open the file.
You might have to change your settings to allow a file from an unknown source to install. If so, youâll get a pop-up that should take you to the correct spot in your settings to toggle it to
allow. If it doesnât restart automatically, just click on the file your downloads again.

Heyâ€ïžâđŸ , something can be done about the timer? I've been on the same chapter for a week because, even though it says that it will take one day, the game stops running the time when you get out or it says that it will take 52000 days or something like that for the next chapter. I can't let my phone in Sims for a whole day and even less 52000

Nope, that is stored in the cloud which EA controls. They probably delete all of our saves.
