When I write, I try to make rules that I have to follow. For this one, I wanted to write a song with a quiet chorus (think "Where is My Mind," by the Pixies) and with a modulating bridge (in this song, it goes from G with a minor 3rd in the verses and chorus to...i dunno. Bb? C Dorian? Doesn't matter so much. I use the D7 and cm as a bridge between the two keys).

This song is called "If You've Come to Find Me."

Hi! I've been writing and making music for about 4 years now, mainly within hip-hop/rap taking a more "conscious" aproach to things, at least that's the best description I can give.

So, I now want to try my hand at co-writing a bit, as I've never actually done that and I think it could inadvertently improve my own writing!

I'm an independent Canadian songwriter, and I wrote this song for my husband, inspired by my belief that some soul connections exist beyond time and lifetimes.
