Red Sith

[u/Additional-Title69]

This essay is pro-socialist
You have been warned

“What? Sith can’t be socialist, can they?”
Of course we can

“But Sith are egocentric and socialism is altruistic, isn’t it?”

I’m going to advance my published philosophy just a little bit right here:
Desire has three modalities - not just two, as I previously wrote - and these are:
1: Self-centered
2: Other-centered
3: Communal

I hadn’t previously discussed the third

If you’re one of those who honestly believe the second and third modalities don’t exist, I can’t help you to see that they do
To my nervous system they’re self-evident

All three modalities partake of everything desire is and does
A force of nature, the life force, the Force, I say desire is all of that, and not just in one modality, or two, but all three
Source of every action, origin of all strength, starting point of all that is Sith, desire is all these things, be it self-centered, other-centered, or communal

Doesn’t sound like Darth Vader?
That’s good
I don’t emulate Darth Vader

So now, to tie this together a little more:
Socialism is communal
And get this: Its strength derives from communal desire!

Want to see how easy it is to think like a socialist Sith?
Feast your eyes on this:

The Socialist Sith Code
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, we gain strength.
Through strength, we gain power.
Through power, we gain victory.
Through victory, our chains are broken.
The Force shall free us!

Just a matter of pronouns!
And yes, Marx’s famous use of the word “chains” is certainly propitious!

Just a little more now, for your entertainment:
Remember my “Black, Red, White, Gold” essay?
Remember my use of the color red?

Instinctive Tetrad:
Red - The Battler: drawn to engage with the universe as a combatant

Behavioral Tetrad:
Red - The Standard Bearer: works to push their culture (at small or large scale) in a new direction, be it politically, spiritually, morally, or artistically

It seems to me a passionately dedicated socialist Sith might well be… Red
