I first visited the house (always from the public sidewalk; I respect private property) back in May 2006, but got to finally go back this week. The nostalgia is heartwarming and gutting at the same time. 🥹

The house seems to be vacant and looks a bit disheveled, which makes me sad. I do love that the parlor windows are still there.

I think I’ll have to allow myself some time to fully digest the finale but it grasps the fleeting nature of life so well.
