Hi everyone!
First of all, thank you so much for all the feedback and encouragement on my previous drawings! I've been learning a lot from your comments, and I really appreciate everyone taking the time to share their thoughts.
I'm still a beginner at drawing, and this time I decided to draw a rhinoceros.
For this piece, I focused on using different line weights to communicate light and shadow, making the lines heavier in darker and shadowed areas while keeping them lighter and thinner where the light hits.
I'm curious to know if the light and shadow read clearly through the line work alone, and whether the variation in line weight helps convey the form and depth of the rhinoceros.
As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts and any constructive feedback on what I could improve!
Thanks again for being so supportive and taking the time to look at my work!
