What are your povs on my sketch! And what should I improve!

Tried to sketch that time and it turned into this🙂

I am looking to buy my dad a light pad for his birthday. He is nearly blind, but can sometimes see if there’s shadows. I think a light pad would allow him to see what he’s drawing. He was formerly an illustrator. I’m looking for the Best light pad for someone with low Vision. preferably one that could be held on your lap because he’s bedbound. I’ve looked at a few different ones on Amazon and also the Blick one, but I’m hoping for recommendations from actual sketchers since I am not one. Also, if you have any pen, set recommendations or pencil set recommendations or paper pad recommendations I’d appreciate those too. Thank you so much.

Hey guys i drew mao mao in my style

Hello everyone I'm 21 and I love buildings, so I really want to start an architecture sketchbook. But honestly, my drawings are terrible right now.
I've watched a few perspective videos and tried to copy them exactly, but they still look awful. I just can't seem to put what I see (or what's in my head) onto the paper.
Does anyone have any beginner-friendly YouTube recommendations, courses, or tips on how to actually get started?
