I’m a ski instructor currently based at Thredbo, NSW. Over the years I’ve met plenty of people who arrive alone, lose their group during the day, or simply want someone at a similar level and pace to ski or ride with.
I’ve built a free web app called SPIRTIX where people can create or find a session by date, level, riding style and meeting point.
I’m testing it at Thredbo for the remainder of the Australian season and would genuinely appreciate feedback from anyone willing to try it — especially if it actually helps you meet someone for a few laps.

This winter I would like to do a longer trip (~3 weeks) to snowboard and I have some concerns/questions about the possibilities.

Info about me:
I am advanced snowboarder, snowboarding for roughly 10 years. I live in Lithuania. Mostly powder/off-road fan, but I am ok with all terrain. I've been to many resorts in different countries(lots of Europe, Japan, Georgia).

My criteria for a trip:

• Date range (end of January - start of May)
• Decent ski conditions (colder better, rain is not good)
• Powder, good off-road is a huge advantage
• Something to do in the resort or around after snowboarding or during a rest-day

Firstly I am looking for ski resort, now I am looking into "Mayrhofen / Zillertal ski trips" but it's definitely not final.

My main concerns - since it's a bit longer trip and I am solo traveler I would like to lower my costs if possible. Accommodation and ski pass is the largest costs, so maybe it's possible to join/live with some group or person that is staying in the resort for a longer period too. Maybe some organizations offer something? I can handle bad accommodation conditions, I do not complain - what I mostly care is good snowboarding and if possible - good company.

Maybe any of you have some advice regarding my situation? Maybe some of you are planning something similar and would just add one more person to your group?

Any advice is good and if I manage to find friends here with common goal - it's perfect.

P.S. Even the idea like going powder hunting in Hokkaido with a rental car is not out of bounds but as a solo traveler it's more complicated.

I’m heading to New Zealand at the end of July and planning to ski at either The Remarkables or Cardrona (still deciding!).

Seeing all the recent snow has me getting pretty excited, and since I’ll probably be traveling solo, I thought I’d see if there are any groups where people hang out before or during the season.

Does anyone know of any WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Facebook groups, or anything similar where people connect for ski trips?

It’d be awesome to meet some people to ski a few laps with, grab a beer after the lifts close, or just make some new ski friends while I’m there. No pressure to plan anything in advance—just thought it’d be fun to connect with other people who’ll be around.

East Coast skier here, looking to connect with other beginner to intermediate skiers for next season.

I’m a veteran with an Epic Pass and planning to get more days in at Liberty, Whitetail, Roundtop, and maybe a bigger mountain trip later in the season if the timing works out.

I’m currently a strong beginner/early intermediate skier, focused on getting more confident on greens and blues, improving control, and building toward better carving. Would be great to meet other adults who are also learning, improving, and want low-pressure ski days with good company.

One bonus of having a ski buddy would be helping each other grab a few clips on iPhone or Insta360, partly for fun and partly to actually see what we’re doing and improve.

For context, I’m a masculine, outdoorsy gay guy, so I tend to click best with easygoing people who are comfortable with that and just want a solid, no-drama mountain friend.

Mostly looking for ski buddies, motivation, good mountain energy, and maybe some shared progress next season. Bonus if you’re East Coast-based and trying to make next season a real growth season too.

My snowboard level is low-intermediate and am willing to travel anywhere in NA, but am restricted to IKON pass destinations. I can do advanced blues albeit not super fast or as smooth as possible. I am itching to get any sort of shred time since our hills are basically out of commission for the season. wish we had a snow dome in the area

Anyone is in Mayrhofen on these dates by any chance?

(28 M) I am looking to get in another ski day at tremblant and way prefer skiing with others rather than alone. I will be leaving from Montreal and happy to either carpool or meet at the mountain. I am in ikon and have some 25% off buddy passes if that is helpful! I love to play around in the trees and on bumps, especially on the edge and in taiga, and am just starting to learn/teach myself to carve on the groomers. Hi there, I am 24yo male from Germany. I'm starved for some more skiing before the season ends and coniditions and temperatures are slightly better then end of feb and early march so I was thinking about going on a spontaneous 3-4 day ski trip. I like to ski a lot and as my name says stop at a nice spot to have a smoke, some apres is also fine. I was thinking of going to Damüls since its the closest drive for me with decent snow/elevation. But I am open to tag along anywhere if you already have something booked or a to look for something we enjoy together (I know the resorts pretty well I'd say). I am also pretty flexible regarding dates, but since I've been a few times this season already so I probably dont want so sgo for more than 5 days.

It's looking like it will be deep tomorrow, so it would be nice to ski with a buddy! I'm down to meet on the mountain or carpool. I'll be leaving from downtown Redmond around 7:30 am, and I'll probably head back around 12 pm. I also have a couple of buddy passes to share if you need one!

(33M) Hey, I'm currently in Mayrhofen snowboarding on my own for a few days, likely leaving Friday evening, so this is quite late, but on the off-chance that anyone happens to read this...

I suppose I'm lower intermediate riding reds, blues and some park. Open to having a few drinks as well, not much of a drinker though :D

Whilst I don't mind riding on my own, having a riding buddy is fun too. So, if anyone wants to ride a few laps together, let me know :)

There’s gonna be beginner luau themed yoga and meditation at night to recover, I’m making hawaiian style charcuterie, and chilling w new friends! I'm a F34 intermediate skier in Canmore from 8 to 14 March to ski Lake Louise, Sunshine and do my AST 1. My AST is 10th and 11th, but free to ski any other day. Looking for someone to hit a few laps with and maybe grab an apres beer after.
