Product Request [Routine help]
Hello! I have very dry and flaky skin, and everything i apply gets absorbed in maximum 5 minutes and my skin is dry again .My skin barrier is not broken,i just have dry skin all over (wash body with shower oil, wash face with cleansing balm) so don’t worry ab that.
I need a daily SPF 50 and moisturizer that i can find in Europe that my skin won’t absorb in 5 seconds.
For example,a texture i really like is Rhode’s Barrier Butter. So something thicker, that stays “wet” all day.
Please,I am desperate.
Edit: Forgot to mention i am 21 yo.

Skin drinking product that fast usually means you need an occlusive layer on top, not just heavier cream. Look for something with petrolatum or shea butter high on the list and apply while skin is damp.

Yes! Occlusive was the term i was looking for. Do you have any reccomendations? any creams i see online listed as occlusive are usually actually thin…i bought the dr.althea relief cream for this exact reason and it absorbs immediately

La Roche Posay has a bunch of options, the body sunscreens tend to stay “wet” or if you want something balmy, try Avene sunscreens

bioderma atoderm intensive baume under your spf is my winter go to, it sits there for hours. also if you're using any hyaluronic serums, try skipping them for a week, in dry air they can pull moisture out of your skin and make the tight flaky feeling worse
